On TikTok, the pediatric nurse said she never lets her children play on a trampoline that doesn’t have a net.

This is because they could end up falling and injuring themselves.

Next On your list is putting your kids in a rear-facing car seat when they’re above the recommended height and weight.

This is because if they don’t fit correctly in the seat, they could end up getting hurt more easily in a collision.

“I’ve seen kids who have gone beyond the requirements and had horrible injuries,” she said.

Tori will never allow her children to pet or play with a dog they haven’t met before.

This is because the dog may not have been trained properly and could end up being dangerous.

Slime is extremely popular with children, however it is not allowed in Tori’s house.

She said: “Children like to eat it and it’s slime for the intestines. It’s a difficult surgery.”

The mother also doesn’t let her children play with Orbeez, which are expandable water toys.

I work at a daycare and there is a type of parent we hate – prepare to be attacked if you let your child bring toys from home in the first place

Children can easily swallow and choke on the toys, and some retailers, like Amazon, have banned their sale.

Tori asked parents to make sure life jackets are not out of date before giving them to their children.

“I saw one that lost its ability to float and dragged a child faster.”

The pediatrician also doesn’t let the children go out when someone is mowing the lawn.

Mum-of-two Sarah Bull shares her thoughts

Fabulous senior writer and mother of two Sarah Bull shared her thoughts on Tori’s revelations.

Sarah Bull said: “Being a mother means worrying 24/7 about your child – whether they are happy, healthy and growing as they should.
Although we always try to keep our little ones safe, accidents can happen and sometimes require a trip to the family doctor or hospital.
We can use our common sense to make our children’s lives safer by doing things like stopping them from playing on a trampoline without a net – which could lead to a bad fall.

“However, I also think we have to let our kids be kids and enjoy life.
Because of this, I disagree with things like stopping them from producing slime or being outdoors when a lawn mower is being used.
While these situations can potentially lead to an accident, they are few and far between. I’m sure hospital records will show that trampoline accidents are much more common than slime-related accidents.
And there’s only so much we can wrap in cotton wool… we also have to let them enjoy their lives and play with their friends.”

This is because children can end up being run over and suffering serious injuries.

“Children are fast, things happen in an instant,” she said.

Tori’s video, which was posted under the username @torid320It probably left a lot of people open-mouthed as it racked up over 557,000 views on the video-sharing platform.

TikTok users rushed to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts.

One person said: “How is Orbeez still cool?”

A second person said: “When my kids reached the limit of that seat, I put them forward.

“It’s not safe when they go over height and weight limits.”

A third added: “The amount of people letting their kids run up to the dogs is absolutely terrifying!”
