JUNE is well and truly here, which means that for many, it won’t be long until they head off on vacation with their kids over the summer break.

But whether you’re traveling to a sunnier climate or making the most of Britain’s beaches, keeping a little one entertained for hours on end can be quite a tricky task – especially in the sticky heat.

So if you’ve planned a day trip to the seaside, you might just want to listen…

That’s because parents are rushing to Lidl to grab a mid-aisle bargain that’s perfect for keeping their kids occupied.

And perhaps the best part of all? It’s currently on offer in the supermarket, with an incredible 70% off.

A bargain hunter named Cristina Moraru decided not to be a guardian and joined a money-saving Facebook group Extreme Coupons and Bargains in the UK.

She posted a photo of the item in question that she spotted at her local branch in Swindon.

The ‘Sand Toys five-piece set’ comes with a shovel, alligator, star and tractor-shaped toy for building shapes in the sand.

And with the starting price of £4.99 reduced to just £1.49, shoppers can save an impressive £3.50.

One person who predicted the bargain would be completely sold out tagged a friend and wrote: “I wonder which one… I bet they’ll all leave!”

It comes after Fabulous previously spoke about other garden essentials that will keep kids cool and entertained in the summer months.

A bargain hunter named Kaitlin Mcneish Irving posted a selection of fun pool activity centers she saw with reduced prices on the same Facebook page.

Alongside the photos, she wrote: “Everything on offer at Argos from £24 and around £30.”

Among them is the ‘Unicorn Play Centre’, which has been reduced from £50 to £30, meaning shoppers can save an incredible £20.

“The pool has a super fun and soft waterslide that your little ones will love sliding down all day.”
