TikTok user @ryankayfischwho calls herself a “relatable mom of six girls,” posted a trick showing off her “cube station.”

Each of her six children gets their own cube for tops, dresses and pants, as well as shoes and accessories.

And its practical system means it doesn’t need to be ironed again.

In one clip, she shared: “After two years of using only laundry baskets, we upgraded.

“Anything wrinkled is sprayed with a spray bottle before use and the wrinkles appear immediately.

“We converted our no-fold laundry basket system to a no-fold cube system for our kids.”

And mom’s trick won’t break the bank, with her just using water in a spray bottle.

The busy mom also shared her no-nonsense trick for doing “hand-me-downs” among her kids.

Each piece of clothing has a registration mark, with the eldest child being labeled “I”, the second being “II”, and the third being “III”, and so on.

As each child completes an item, they add a tally mark and then move on to the next child.

My towels smell so much better since doing a minimalist laundry change – no mold, follow my rule of thumb

The mother’s cubes were labeled with each child’s number.

She added: “Each basket is labeled with your name and number in order.

“We keep everything here – no closets, no dressers.”

Many people were very impressed with its time savings tricksand her video has racked up over 67,000 likes.

One person wrote: “The count mark is extremely clever if you think about how they simply have to increase the count as they iron the clothes.”

Another added: “I need to do this myself.”

She also shared her counting system for 'hand-me-downs' and adds a count as it is given to the next child

Five smart mom hacks to save you a fortune

ANY parent knows how expensive it can be to feed your children – especially if they are fans of expensive, branded products. But there are some hacks that can help you save money, as Sarah Bull, mom of two and fabulous senior digital reporter, explained:

Batch Cook

This is a trick that many moms, myself included, swear by. One thing I like to do is cook a tomato sauce in batches – hiding a bunch of vegetables inside, including carrots, peppers and onions. Once cool, place it in an ice cube tray to freeze. Then you can pull out the portions and package them – ready to use for anything from pasta sauce to pizza crust.

Home Happy Meal

It would be difficult to find a child who doesn’t like McDonald’s. But with Happy Meals now costing £3.89 each, it can be expensive to buy them for your kids – especially if you have more than two. But why not try making your own home? Save the packaging from your last trip to McDonald’s and prepare some chicken nuggets and fries in the skillet. Put an inexpensive toy in a bag and serve with a Fruit Shoot for an economical Happy Meal at home.

Enjoy the leftovers

If you’re savvy enough to plan things in advance, you can use the leftovers to keep your kids fed for another day. If you make something like pizza, for example, why not also make enough for lunch the next day? In fact, many children prefer cold pizza, and it’s especially helpful if you prepare packed lunches for yours.

Involve the children

It’s not specifically a budget hack, but I’ve found it always helps encourage kids to eat things they’ve never tried before. I cooked things like fajitas and put all the ingredients in different bowls, before asking the kids to make their own. While I put in your favorites – like chicken, cheese, and cucumber – I also put peppers and lettuce in a bowl. And to my delight, they both tasted it in their fajitas. What a score!

Abandon the brands

One thing that can make shopping much more expensive than necessary is opting for branded products. We’ve always been a Heinz ketchup family, refusing to buy anything else, but with the price of that skyrocketing, we switched to supermarket own brand ketchup and saved a lot – especially considering how much of it we got. through. If your kids aren’t willing to make that switch, why not put the unbranded product in the branded product’s packaging and see if they notice the difference?
