PRIMARK used to be the place to look for discounted children’s clothes.
But now a mufluencer explained that there is a different budget store that she frequents when she needs to stock up on new pieces for her kids.
Freya Harvey liked her TikTok page to share a recent trip to Poundland with sister Eden, as she said: “I want to show you these things in Poundland for kids, guys.
“It’s unreal!”
She then proceeded to show off some of her favorite items from the store, including a ‘Cool girl’ printed t-shirt, an Aristocats jacket and a Lion King t-shirt.
“This top, these jeans… honestly, I prefer them to Primark!” Freya added.
After looking at the women’s clothes on offer, she went to the men’s section and said, “I guarantee it’s not that good, but let’s give it a try.”
She was initially unimpressed with the boys’ offerings, but later found a section of beige, brown and green clothing that she “absolutely loved.”
“The women’s clothes are also very beautiful,” she noted.
Sharing the video on TikTok, Freya captioned it: “Poundland kids clothes will always be my favourite!”
And the comments section was almost immediately filled with people who agreed with Freya’s assessment.
“I love Poundland clothes for my little girl!!” one wrote.
“I agree they are 100 per cent better than Primark!”
“I love Poundland for the kids,” added another.
“Loveee pep&co for the clothes,” said a third.
“I agree it’s much better than Primark and for the price too!”
“Very cheap too,” said someone else.
“Perfect for when they’re only in them for 5 minutes.”
A former employee on Poundland prices

Holly Laing22, from Northampton, revealed he worked in Poundland and often heard customers say the same irritating thing.
Holly claimed she worked for Poundland in 2015 for three months as a Christmas temp.
She said customers would get angry when products cost more than £1 individually.
In a comical video, Holly acted out a scenario that often occurred on her shift at the bargain store, where customers were always perplexed and angry that items could cost more than £1.
Holly uploaded her video with the caption “I heard this a lot”, as she said: “POV: Not everything is £1 in Poundland.”
Holly explained that customers often said to her: “But this is the pound shop, isn’t it?”
“That’s very misleading, I’ll only pay for it if it’s a pound.”
“Pep and co are fab – low cost and always right,” added another.
“I just got my little girl the green set today, it’s beautiful,” another person commented.
“I bought the pink Lion King top the other day, the quality is so good for £2.50,” revealed another.
As someone else insisted, a Scooby Doo denim jacket he bought from Poundland for his son was the “cutest thing ever”.
And others revealed that another thing they love about Poundland’s children’s clothes is how well they wash too.
“Pep&co are honestly fabulous!” one wrote.
“They also wash well, I love shopping there for myself, my husband and all 5 kids!!”
“Much better than Primark and washes much better,” added another.
“I think they also wash really well,” commented a third.
“My son has a few loads from there, my favorite on him.”
