And let’s face it, you’re probably not the first or last parent who’s had to deal with tantrums and tears after trying to pull him off the ground before getting in the car…

However, according to several shoppers, this could soon be a problem of the past because they are excited about a bargain that they say “works perfectly” at removing stubborn sand.

Taking to Facebook group Extreme Coupons and Bargains in the UKa man named Daniel posted a Photograph from ‘Areia Fora’.

And for those who have never heard of it, the product claims to be “the quick and easy way to remove sand from your legs and feet”.

Alongside the image, he wrote: “£1 at The Range.

“Has anyone tried this? Does it work?”

It works wonders, I used it on my son when I removed the sand from him at the beach

Fortunately for Daniel, he wasn’t short on answers.

The post quickly accumulated several likes and more than 144 comments from social media users who have tried and tested the product – and with great success.

“Like a charm,” one person replied.

A second called it a “great thing”, while a third agreed: “Yes, it’s fabulous!”

Meanwhile, a fourth recalled: “We used it in Spain and it was really good.”

Another added: “Yes, it works!”

And one further explained: “The same thing that normal talcum powder also does.

“It absorbs water so that the sand dries and is then removed much more easily.”

It comes after Fabulous previously shared a water bottle hack that will help fill your kiddie pool with warm water in minutes – and it’s perfect for the summer months.

Experienced dad named Darren has embraced TikTok (Image: Instagram)@darrenhannah336) and explained how you just need to make a hole in the side of an empty plastic bottle and turn it upside down.

Then, place your kitchen faucet into the newly cut hole and thread the outer hose into the bottle spout.

To prevent water leakage, he advised sealing with tape.

Finally, he recommended placing the other end of the hose in the kiddie pool and turning the water to the preferred temperature – and voilà!

Five ways to keep your kids cool in the heat

It can be very difficult – and expensive – to keep kids cool when it’s hot outside. But Fabulous Digital Senior Reporter and mom of two Sarah Bull shares five ways you can help, and they won’t break the bank either.

Take them off

It may seem simple, but getting kids out of the house can really help them regulate their temperature when it’s hot outside. Just remember to apply sunscreen regularly as more of your skin will be exposed to the sun.

Cool rooms before dark

When it’s hot outside, it can be hard for kids to sleep — especially if their room feels like an oven. If you have a room that doesn’t receive direct sunlight, keep the windows open to let in the breeze. It’s also a good idea to keep the curtains closed to prevent the room from getting hot.

Wear a hat

Another simple technique, but one that really works. Make sure that if your children are playing outside, they are wearing a hat. It keeps your face and head protected from the sun and also helps if you have a child who struggles with bright sunlight. If your child has trouble keeping their hat on, try one with a strap that goes under their chin to help.

Avoid the car

The car can be one of the hottest places during a heat wave and it often takes a long time to cool down. If you have the option, it’s better to stay home than take the kids everywhere in a hot car.

Stay hydrated

This is always important, but even more so in a heat wave. Remember to regularly remind your children to have a drink and top them up with cold liquids whenever you can. Use ice as well to ensure it is as cold as possible.
