A mother was left horrified after her daughter got an entire pack of Bunchems stuck in her hair and it took her seven hours to remove them.
The shocked father uploaded a video showing the girl’s hair completely tangled with small round balls completely embedded inside.
In it @veezybabyyy13 account, she said: “That time my daughter had curls in her hair.
“It took seven hours to remove them.”
Bunchems are small plastic toys that kids can connect to create different shapes.
The brand’s packaging warns users to keep it out of their hair, but many parents know that kids sometimes have other ideas.
When the mother came across the challenge After meticulously removing each Bunchem individually, she realized the mission would take a while.
She added: “We tried conditioner and coconut oilbut this only made the situation worse.”
The tired mother even admitted that she had considered cutting her daughter’s hair, but ultimately decided against it.
Finally she gave up completely and decided to take it to a salon to get help from a professional.
She explained: “I was trying to do it myself. It took me about two hours to get 7 of them out!!! I would never be able to do this alone haha.”
Hours later, the poor girl’s hair finally got rid of the balls and returned to normal.
Despite the hard work, the hairdresser didn’t even charge the mother for the time it took to remove the toys.
The mother added: “Can you believe the hairdresser didn’t want to charge me?!
“I ended up tipping them each $100 (£79).
“I really wish I could have given them more.”
Many people were quick to send their support and say that they too had issues with Bunchems.
The video racked up more than 41,000 likes and viewers quickly chimed in.
How to get Bunchems out of children’s hair

THEY ARE a popular toy craze, but Bunchems can be a nightmare if they get stuck in your hair. Here’s how to deal with them if you find yourself in this situation…
- Use hair conditioner or vegetable oil.
- Apply to hair where curls are tied.
- Comb the hair below until all knots disappear.
- Once all the knots are out of the hair below the pinned curls, pull the curls down until they slide off the end of the hair.
One said: “Those hairdressers did a great job, barely any hair in those curls.”
Another added: “I assume she laid down and rolled around in a bunch of curls… girls have done this before but luckily not all of them got stuck.”
And a third commented: “And that would have been the day she cut her hair.”
Previously, a hairdresser told how the same thing happened to one of her clients and the plastic furry balls were so embedded that she wondered if she would have to shave the girl’s hair.
The hairdresser added: “She was so well behaved and hardly complained.
“We took 87 Velcro balls out of her hair.
“We ended up cutting five to six inches of hair.”
