And a woman has revealed the unconventional method her mother came up with to name her sister.

On Reddit, the woman explained that her mother came up with an original name for her sister, combining the name of her favorite actress and a brand of cheese snacks.

The woman revealed: “My mom named my sister after Cheez-Its and a celebrity.

“My sister’s name is Cheezka.

“She was named after an actress who goes by ‘Francesca’ and because my mom’s friend gave her a box of Cheez-Its as a baby shower gift.”

Cheez-Its is a brand of American cheese-flavored crackers.

The post was flooded with responses from Reddit users, many of whom were shocked by the unique name.

One person said: “Literally one of the worst names I’ve heard in my life.”

Another person said: “I wish I could give an award to what is, without a doubt, the worst name I have ever heard.

“There are no words to describe it, it was named after a junk food.

I regret my 2 month old daughter’s name – it feels strange saying it out loud, I usually just refer to her as ‘baby’

“Looks like someone tried to tell Jessica, but was too drunk to speak. Shame on your mother.”

A third person said: “The fact that her name is an inside joke is honestly heartbreaking.

“I can’t imagine living knowing that my name came about through so little effort or consideration, but through a box of cookies.”

A fourth person added: “Cheezka is the kind of nickname a child comes up with because pronouncing “Francesca” is too difficult for them.”
