One mom decided to spruce up her outdoor kiddie pool with a homemade addition.
The DIY fun was approved by the kids and even ended the fight over the water hose.
Maria (@itz.bammarz) filmed his clever contraption on a viral video on TikTok.
She used a plastic product that would normally end up in the recycling bin: a plastic bottle.
Setting up her outdoor area, she found a tall tree above her kiddie pool.
The “boy mom” poked holes in the bottle and filled it with water using the hose to create additional summer fun for his children.
“I bought them a kiddie pool, filled it up, and put a homemade water spray bottle above them,” she wrote in the caption.
“They love it and no one is fighting over the water hose haha.”
DIY TO DIE
Several TikTokers joined the conversation to give their opinion on children’s activities created by mothers.
Many people wondered why they didn’t know about the hack sooner.
“Now why the hell didn’t we do this as kids?” one wrote.
“Why didn’t I ever think of that haha?” another commented on the DIY sprinkler.
Others mentioned that the at-home fun in the kiddie pool took them back to their childhood.
“One of my favorite memories,” said one. “My dad would use two-liter sodas.”

Some assured “#boymom” that their children would be even more grateful for the experience as they grow up.
