A WOMAN has revealed she is tired of feeling embarrassed about her baby’s name.
The anonymous woman explained that she chose a name for her son, but explained that people constantly “make fun of it.”
As a result, the expectant mother, who is currently pregnant, feels as if she is being “bullied” into changing the situation.
Opening up about her situation, the social media user took to Reddit to share her nickname dilemma.
Posting on ‘pregnant topicThe user, who posts under the username @restlessnobody8, titled her post ‘Baby name shaming’.
She then asked, “Anyone else tired of feeling embarrassed about the name they chose for their baby?”
The woman revealed: “My fiancé and I chose our son’s name because we both like it and his middle name runs in the family.”
The woman shared that she wants to name her son Axel Phillip, as she continued: “However, many people who ask what his name will be somehow scoff at this.
“I used to let it roll off my shoulders, but now it’s starting to make me feel bad.
“We’re not going to change that, but it almost feels like we’re being bullied.
“It hurts and I don’t want my son to deal with it either.
“How do you deal with people shaming the name you chose?”

“If you can, stop talking about the name to other people. Sharing it with others completely ruined my perception of a name we chose years ago.
