A mum was left stunned after her daughter proudly came downstairs to show off her new accessory.

Brianna Attias was downstairs with the rest of the family when her four-year-old son walked up to his mom and showed off his latest asset.

In the clip, her daughter confidently walked down the stairs to show her parents that she had decided to get her ears pierced herself.

The child seemed completely unfazed by the pain he was feeling – using a pair of his mother’s plastic hoop earrings to poke holes in his own ears.

Stunned by the situation, her mother took out the camera to show off her daughter’s new jewelry and said, “I can’t believe you did that?

“Did it hurt?”

The young girl triumphantly responded with a ‘no’ as she continued to show them off.

Her mother asked if she was lying about the pain, but her daughter was adamant that there was no pain.

She then went over to her father, who was sitting on the couch, looking shocked and horrified by his daughter’s determination.

He shook his head while Googling on his phone how to handle the situation.

Brianna, laughing, said, “Dad can’t believe it.”

Still stunned, he replied: “What do you, what do you, what does a person like that turn into?”

Strict Parenting Rules for Future Teenagers: Teacher’s Controversial List

The clip has since gone viral on the mother’s TikTok account @fifty shades of mother with more than 15 million views and 2.4 million likes.

People were quick to embrace the comments, marveling at their daughter’s independence, but also warning how it will only get worse as she becomes a teenager.

One person wrote: “Her teenage years are going to be fun.”

Another commented: “This girl is fearless, be careful.”

Babies and children with ear piercings

CAROL Cooper, Sun Doctor, reveals the medical implications of ear piercing in babies and young children:

  • Ear piercing in babies and young children is controversial. On the one hand, it can be seen as a form of child abuse. But it is also widely practiced in many countries and cultures and is much less aggressive than other procedures that some girls have to endure.
  • There are certainly medical risks.
Infection is one of them, which is why many pediatricians recommend waiting at least until the first tetanus shot at two months of age. But there are also many other potential infections that routine vaccines do not prevent. Getting your ears pierced somewhere that looks clean is no guarantee.
  • Tearing the earlobe is a risk if the earring gets caught in clothing or bedding, or if the baby simply pulls on it.
  • Earrings can also fall out and are small enough to pose a choking hazard to a baby or young child.
Sometimes a keloid scar results, with a protruding and ugly scar.
  • That’s why it’s best to wait until your child is old enough to want to get her ears pierced, as well as take care of them herself.

“That would be the wildest thing to do as a teenager hahaha but she’s just a kid omg,” wrote a third.

Meanwhile, a fourth said: “Dad is literally Googling helping strategies.”

“Dad is terrified,” said a fifth.

Someone else added: “This girl doesn’t know fear.”
