Posting on social media, Lisa wrote: “Things I wish I knew as a first time mother.”

In the short clip, we saw her beautiful blonde child lying on the bed.

Lisa then shared her simple trick to ensure your little one never wakes up thirsty during the night.

And no, it’s not a sippy cup or a water bottle – in fact, with Lisa’s trick, she uses a classic glass-hung water dispenser, with a metal straw at the bottom, to ensure your child never gets drunk. without.

Surprisingly similar to something you’d expect to find in a rabbit cage or hamster cage, Lisa used a cable tie to attach the water dispenser to a slat on her daughter’s bed.

Thrilled by her discovery, Lisa wrote: “She always has water when she needs it.”

We then saw the little darling smile, as she smiled out of bed to take a sip from her new water cooler.

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ljflomomjust 22 hours ago, it clearly left many speechless as it quickly went viral.

It has since racked up a jaw-dropping 5.1 million views, and while more than 10,000 people saved the video and 95,000 shared it, more than 8,100 users took to the comments to share their thoughts.

But parents were not impressed with Lisa’s hack, with many claiming the water fountain is for animals and not children.

I threw away my children’s drawings, toys and seven bags full of clothes – it’s just rubbish, I was cruel, but I feel so much better

One person said: “This is for guinea pigs.”

Another added: “OMG we are treating children like hamsters.”

This is a joke, right?

A third asked: “Is she a hamster?”

Meanwhile, someone else wrote: “This is a joke, right? Your son is NOT a rabbit!”

‘SHE COULD USE A CUP’

Not only that, but many parents questioned why Lisa couldn’t just give her daughter a bottle of water to drink at night.

One mother asked: “What happened to the cups and drinking bottles?”

How much water should I drink?

WATER makes up more than 66% of our body and it is important to drink enough every day.

The NHS advises drink six to eight glasses of fluids a day.

However, drinking much more than this can also negatively impact your health.

To put it in another perspective, it’s about three or four 500ml bottles of water.

Drinking low-fat milks and sugar-free drinks, as well as plain breakfast tea, coffee and herbal tea, count towards what the NHS recommends.

Young children and the elderly are at greater risk of dehydration.

A second wrote: “Or just buy her a bottle…”

While a third chimed in: “Or… or… she could use a cup.”
