THERE’S nothing better than treating yourself to a hearty pizza at the end of a long work week.

However, other foodies will know that going to your favorite Italian restaurant also comes with a hefty bill, as costs continue to skyrocket.

But luckily, money-conscious food lovers have found a bargain at a major supermarket, where you can now enjoy their favorite cheese for a fraction of the price.

What’s more, not only will you save money compared to an expensive visit to your favorite pizzeria, but this at-home DIY fake is also the perfect way to meal prep with your kids during the school holidays.

Not one to be a gatekeeper, one shopper and mother, Debbie Howarth, took to Facebook to inform other parents about the fabulous offer she had seen before.

According to Debbie, major retailer Morrisons now sells pizza kits that come with all the basic ingredients needed, including dough.

The box, which weighs around 420g, also contains grated cheese, a rich tomato sauce for the base, as well as small pieces of ham and small pieces of pineapple.

The £3 kit – which will cost £5 if you get two thanks to the special offer – also comes with different toppings if you’re not a fan of the sweet fruit.

Meat lovers, for example, can purchase a similar kit with pepperoni slices or opt for the “extra cheese” option – a must if you love mozzarella.

“Kids DIY pizza £3 each or 2 for £5 at Morrisons,” wrote Debbie on her post shared in popular Extreme Couponing and Bargains Group in the UK.

Needless to say, news of the deliciousness that has taken over Morrisons has gone viral on the platform, especially among parents looking for ways to entertain their children.

More than 1,400 people liked the post, while more than 1,000 members flocked to the comments to tag their friends and inform them about the deal.

“Such a good idea,” one buyer praised the big brand.

Another told his friend: “That would be good for a night.”

“You can also pay 50 cents more for any other topping on the regular counter pizza menu,” said a third.

“This looks cool for kids,” thought another person.

Where can kids eat for free this summer?

Summer holidays are here, but entertaining the kids doesn’t have to cost a fortune.

Here we reveal where you can get free and cheap meals for your little ones during the ‘endless’ summer holidays.

ASDA COFFEE: Pop into an Asda cafe to feed the kids after their weekly shop.

Under 16s receive a hot or cold meal for £1 at any time of the day.

Little ones are covered too.

Kids under 18 months get a free bag of Ella’s baby food with any purchase.

BEEF MEAT: This family-friendly pub chain makes mornings a breeze.

Two children under 16 eat free with the purchase of an adult breakfast for £10.99.

It is available from 6:30am to 10:30am midweek and 7am to 11am on weekends.

BEAUTIFUL ITALY: Book a table and order an adult meal at the Italian restaurant for children aged two to 11 to get three courses and a drink for £1.

Offer valid between 4pm and 6pm from Sunday to Wednesday.

On Thursdays, kids eat free all day when an adult meal is ordered from the a la carte menu.

DUNELM: Make shopping for household items a fun day.

Dunelm’s Pausa Cafes are offering free kids’ meals for every £4 spent on food or drink.

Available all day, every day.

ACCOUNTS: Dine at a Bill’s restaurant to get up to two free kids’ meals (normally £6.95 each) with one adult meal.

Valid only on weekdays until August 30th.

IKEA: Make a food day at the Swedish store.

Every day except Fridays, stop by their famous cafe from 11am to pick up a kids’ pasta or mac and cheese dish for 95 cents.

Other mini meals are available for £1.50.

EXPRESS PIZZA: Children ten and under can receive a free three-course Piccolo meal, including dumplings, pizza or pasta and dessert, with every adult meal purchased.

The offer runs every day until August 11th.

TESCO: Head to the supermarket cafe Monday to Friday until August 30 to receive free kids’ meals when an adult purchases any item from the cafe.

You must have a Clubcard to redeem the offer.

THE RANGE: Children under 16 get one free meal per adult purchased at The Range cafes.

Options include sandwiches, cooked-to-order breakfast and fish and chips.

All children’s meals include a piece of fruit and a drink.

If you’re looking to create the ultimate snack board before a movie night at home, Morrisons now also offers a ready-made cheese nachos kit.

Filling in at 340g, this box comes with all the essentials for the cult-favourite treat and retails for a purse-friendly £3.50, which is significantly more affordable than a restaurant.

There’s also a meatier option – Hunters Chicken Nachos – which will set shoppers back £2.50 for 250g of the product.

Meanwhile, if you’re not a fan of white meat, the supermarket also offers a similar nacho kit, but with spicy meat for the same price.
