Inside was a modern, minimalist dream home, with warm beige tones running throughout the space.

But there was one feature that left everyone perplexed: the ceiling.

The ceiling was low and even Bresha, who was 5 feet tall, had to crawl around the room and couldn’t stand up inside.

In the clip, it was possible to see the young woman trying to make the bed in the small space.

Making a double bed is not an easy task, but to make matters worse, Bresha had to do it completely bent over as there was no room for her to stand up.

Responding to comments, Bresha said: “I knew the ceiling was going to be so low when I got it, the reason you can’t raise that ceiling is because this tiny house, specifically, is considered an RV park house, so it’s on wheels at all times and can be moved anywhere.”

Bresha revealed that she couldn’t raise the ceiling as her tiny home needed to be 309 square feet lower to fall into an RV home, and that meant she didn’t have to pay property tax.

If she extended the van, she would have to pay property tax, so she decided not to.

Bresha continued: “Personally it doesn’t bother me, the only time I regret having my room up there is when I have to make the bed and when I’m redecorating or something because I have to bend over. “

“If you’re claustrophobic, 10 out of 10 wouldn’t recommend it.”

I dug around and saved £38k to build my own tiny house – the bills are just £200 a month, but there’s a problem

The clip posted to his TikTok account @Breshajeanae It has since gone viral with over 2 million views and 94,000 likes.

People were quick to share their thoughts in the comments section of the post.

One person wrote: “My back hurts watching this.”

Another commented: “Yes, you are avoiding property tax, but you will definitely pay the cost of back pain.”

Why I Could Never Live in a Tiny House

Tiny homes are becoming increasingly popular in the UK, especially in the cost of living crisis when first-time buyers are struggling to get on the property ladder or current owners are having to pay ridiculous interest rates on mortgages.

But Rebecca Miller, associate editor at Fabulous, shared why living in a tiny house would be her idea of a nightmare.

“I’m currently selling my apartment and buying a house, and as I pack up all my belongings, I’m worried about where it will all end up – there’s so much stuff!

Fortunately, I have the privilege of purchasing a house with more square meters than my current apartment.

But it got me thinking: could I ever live in a small space? And the answer is no.

  1. Less personal space

Living with another person immediately reduces personal space, but remove several bedrooms and I would be left with just the bathroom as my sanctuary. I’m not sure I could handle that!

  1. Less storage space

I’m like a magpie, I like to collect beautiful things things, and I like my belongings to be organized. With limited storage space, it would be very difficult to keep everything clean and tidy.

  1. Unable to be the host

One of the joys of being an independent adult is being able to host friends, family, overnight stays and dinners. Where would I gather everyone for Sunday lunch if my table only accommodated two people? Not to mention how would I prepare a Sunday lunch?

  1. There’s no room to grow

Both as an individual, as part of a couple and also my hobbies, can be restricted by physical space. When I moved into my apartment, I was so happy to have my own balcony, and it’s been a space where my love of gardening has grown. Five years later, my balcony is full of plants and I had to install a mini propagator in the living room!

“My claustrophobia never could,” wrote a third.

Meanwhile, a fourth said: “Very closed off. I would literally have a panic attack. God bless you.”

“Your little house is SO PRETTY!!! Minimalist too, which I love!” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “Go girl because I couldn’t do it.”
