In the clip, the mother woke up from a night of drinking in Mallorca with dried blood all over her platinum blonde hair.

She said: “I got drunk whilst on holiday with my son which resulted in my head being broken.

“This comment seems to think I was babysitting my son while drunk.”

But the mother revealed she was also on holiday with her partner, who stayed sober overnight to look after their son.

The mother doubled down on any judgment she faced, adding that it was her birthday.

“Because I’m a mom doesn’t mean I can’t drink on my birthday and how I opened my head was actually hitting a brick wall, which I probably do when I’m sober anyway,” she continued.

She admitted to seeing some scary situations of parents not looking after their children while they were drinking, including a girl who almost drowned if her own partner hadn’t stepped in and saved her.

However, the mother and her partner took turns staying sober during the holidays to ensure someone was always looking after their son.

She said: “That to me is bad manners.”

“And it was actually the scariest thing I’ve ever witnessed.”

The clip quickly went viral, with more than 230,000 views on social media, and many took to the comments to share their thoughts.

Many mothers welcomed the comments, telling them not to worry about the judgment that would confirm that she too deserved a night off.

One person wrote: “They wouldn’t say ANYTHING if it was the dad who got drunk.”

“Exactly that! Moms get there one week of vacation a year and can’t even have a cocktail,” the mother replied.

Another commented: “YES!! shocking nowadays, how we have to explain ourselves! Best mother!”

“It’s exhausting being the default parent. Judgment on every corner, then our mother’s guilt. Not a fair part of the deal we have,” wrote a third.
