PARENTS have been impressed by a mum’s simple trick to keep her kids’ food warm until lunchtime.
Surprisingly, she didn’t spend any money on a special container for the obligatory hack.

Autumn Grace (@honestlyautumn) has more than 556,000 followers on TikTok, where he shares tips for parents.
She went viral on the social media app when she shared a food-related hack.
HOT HACK
Autumn was all smiles as she held her son’s lunch box and began to show how it kept the food warmer for longer.
“Things I wish I knew as a first-time mom,” she said.
“Boil some water and then put it in your child’s hydro.
“Let it sit for a while and then throw it away to keep food warm for school lunches.”
She demonstrated pouring boiling water into a large hydraulic flask that had been placed in her sink.
After waiting a few minutes, she poured the water down the drain.
The hydrobottle was still hot with steam coming out of the top when she began to place chicken nuggets inside.
“This is a great way to keep your child’s food warm for back-to-school lunch!” she wrote in the video’s caption.
Many people were shocked and liked the video to show that they were grateful for the hack.
A top commenter shared advice for making sure food doesn’t get soggy throughout the day.
“I heard someone say they put a paper towel on the bottom to absorb moisture and condensation!” they wrote.
“Yes to that!” Autumn replied.
MOM KNOWS BEST
Autumn’s easy trick for keeping kids’ lunches warm comes after she racked up more than 1 million views on a potty training video.
She said children will be motivated to pee in the toilet if they are given a full glass of milk to blow bubbles with a straw.
“Not only is this a fun activity that makes them comfortable in the bathroom, but it also puts pressure on their bladder to make them pee,” she said.
In a more recent video, Autumn shared a time-saving trick when preparing kids’ school lunches.
She demonstrated cutting a box of rolls in half before making sandwiches filled with cheese and mayonnaise.
She then covered them with gallon-sized freezer bags before putting them away.
When it came time to pack her kids’ school lunches, she simply pulled out two pre-made sandwiches.
