THEY’RE the much-loved candles that can cost upwards of £20.
So it makes sense that shoppers would rush to Tesco after finding Yankee Candles on sale at incredibly reduced prices.
Becci took it to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Group in the UK on Facebook to share her epic achievement, as she wrote: “Possibly at the local Tesco.
“Guessing the scents of summer, but hey – Christmas shopping has started!!”
She shared photos of receipts from Tesco in Rainham, which revealed she had scored some amazing deals.
A receipt showed she had purchased two large Midnight Jasmine candles for £6.90 instead of £23 each, as well as two Cherry Blossom candles for the same price.
Additionally, she bought the 411g candles in Black Cherry and bought three Vanilla Cupcakes for £6.90 each.
Becci completed her purchase with four medium candles in the Summer Daydream scent for £4.20 each, down from £14.
In total, the candles she picked up must have cost £240.
But thanks to the reductions, she only forked out £72.
People in the comments section were quick to weigh in on Becci’s finds, with many revealing they also purchased the discounted candles.
“Today I also have some to keep,” wrote one of them.
“Also Woodwick candles from £18.50 to £5.45!”
“Today I bought some medium pots and also an electric diffuser”, boasted another.
“I was just having a look at some in Asda,” wrote a third.
“I think they were 500 grams, but they cost £12.
“Looks like you got a great deal!”
“That’s your work for tomorrow then,” joked another person after tagging a friend.
Someone else shared a photo of the mini Sunny Citrus Yankee candles they bought in Tesco for just £1.50 each.
And Tesco isn’t the only place people flock to in search of Yankee Candle bargains.
