Editor Pwnies shared the cleaning advice in a post.

They explained that they used to clean their parents’ vacation rentals between guest stays.

Due to the short time intervals between check-in and check-out, they often didn’t have much time to get the rooms in order.

His tips, however, helped them stay on track.

First, they revealed that instead of paper towels, they opted for rags.

“They let you get deeper into the dirt,” they wrote.

At the beginning of the cleaning session, they fill the bathroom sink with hot water, adding the cleaning agent of your choice.

The sink, they revealed, would become the base for all their cleaning needs.

“To dive [the] put a cloth there, wring it out and then clean everything, with brush strokes going towards the sink”, they said.

“Pull all the dust/dirt into the sink. When you’re done wiping everything down with a damp cloth, go over everything again with a dry cloth.”

There are 20 things you should NEVER have in your home if you hate cleaning – you’ll instantly regret buying the carpet

The trick, they revealed, was to be mindful of the amount of cleaning agent used.

“Don’t overuse the cleaning agent. It often takes longer to remove the cleaning agent afterwards than to clean it first,” they explained.

The expert warned cleaning professionals to avoid cleaning agents that hinder the process.

“Softscrub bleach is one of the worst offenders – only use it in showers/inside a bathroom, otherwise you’ll spend a lot of time picking up the chalk that’s in it.”

Deal with it, you can wash your hands later. If you can’t handle it, buy rubber gloves. You can’t do something halfway while trying not to get dirty.

Instead, your personal favorites have made cleaning faster, although your top two picks should never be mixed.

“For general cleaning, vinegar is best, bleach is second best,” they revealed.

“Don’t mix the two, it’s one or the other choice (unless you like chlorine gas).”

To control dust, they created a device that does it all for them.

“Buy an air purifier. Having one will reduce the amount of dust falling into a room by 50 to 90 percent,” they said.

“Less dust means things will look cleaner for longer.”

While you may not have a lot of time to clean a space, they added that at the end of the day, effort and perseverance are key.

“Don’t be disgusted. Your skin is made to keep the nasty stuff in your body,” they said.

“You’re probably going to touch some poop or something at some point.

“Deal with it, you can wash your hands later. If you can’t deal with it, buy rubber gloves. You can’t do something halfway by trying not to get dirty.”
