A HANDY homeowner shared an affordable DIY to build the giant mirror of her dreams.
A $7 Target purchase was the star of her home project, which people say saved her thousands of dollars.
Mary (@mehree.b) shared the interior design project in a viral TikTok video.
She explained that she wanted to install a giant mirror on an empty wall in her house.
Instead of breaking the bank to hire professionals for her renovation, she decided to take matters into her own hands.
The interior specialist wanted to execute the dramatic transformation within budget.

“I wanted a large mirror on a budget and created this. Viola. $7 mirrors from Target,” said Mary.
She asked for fifteen $7 framed rear view mirrors from Target and started working.
With some help, a ladder, and a nail gun, she installed the large framed mirror three times her height in a five-by-three rectangle on the wall.
The $105 mirror covered the entire wall from top to bottom and reflected her grand staircase.
Many were impressed with how much money she saved with her quick thinking.
“Everyone complaining that it costs $105 doesn’t realize that this could have been a $5,000 mirror job,” said one commenter.
Some added that the $5,000 estimate seemed low.
“It could have cost $20,000… I don’t know what you’re trying to say,” replied another.
Many agreed that the project was extremely cost-effective and elevated their home.
“You guys don’t realize how cheap $105 is for this and it really opened up the space!” said one commenter.

“That’s so smart. Big mirrors are so expensive for no reason,” said another.
Some thought the design looked much more sophisticated than many might have expected.
“Damn, she looks EXPENSIVE,” said one viewer.
“It looks so expensive. Money well spent,” agreed another.
“Okay, it costs more than $100, but why? This is BEAUTIFUL and a great deal”, praised a third.
While some thought she should have removed the frames for a more cohesive look, others thought the frames were a nice touch.
“Leaving the frames on was the perfect aesthetic choice!” said one spectator.
It was thought that the moldings worked well to enhance its stark white wall.
“I normally don’t like modern things, but this is just WOW!” they said.
