Calling it her most challenging project to date, Georgia shared how she owned the garage as part of a seven-bedroom property she has nearby in Kent.

She said in YouTube: “Because it was close to a station, people used to use it as a bathroom.

“Unfortunately the garage was too rotten to save, but I decided I could probably do something with it – so I built what is essentially a two-bedroom property.”

Georgina now uses the space as a workplace and as guest accommodation, which she rents out on Airbnb – and has saved thousands by using mostly recycled materials.

The house genius told Fabulous: “The plan was actually for it to be my studio, but everything evolved as we built it and realized it would be quite spacious.”

To add light to the gloomy garage, she added a skylight and double doors that help sunlight flood the interior.

She said: “I rescue and reuse whenever I can. I jumped into saving Victorian picture rails so they could be reused.

“This is very important, not only because of the history of a house, but because it feels wrong to throw away something that works.”

The two-bedroom house now has a beautiful blue door that leads to the airy living room.

Speaking of her salon, she said Subway: “This is filled with pre-loved or antique display furniture.

Our house hadn’t been updated for over 20 years – now I’ve had a permanent renovation and we’ve saved over £6k by doing the kitchen ourselves

“There are two small round side tables that were left on the street.”

All she did to the tables, which she called her “pride and joy,” was give them a coat of paint and add a marble effect.

She also has a homemade chandelier made from an old bicycle wheel that she painted gold.

Meanwhile, her TV stand was from a charity shop and she painted it white.

She added: “That’s the great thing about upcycling – if you can’t find what you need, you can just turn something into what you need. next for nothing.”

Georgina has a bedroom upstairs and another downstairs, and they too have been tastefully decorated.

The headboard in the upstairs bedroom was from a charity shop and she stapled better fabric to it, and also bought second-hand side tables for both bedrooms.

The task “took minutes” and saved hundreds of pounds,” he said.

Georgina revealed that she injured herself while making the artwork in her downstairs bedroom and explained: “I ended up stubbing my big toe, dislocating it and having to go to the emergency room, which was very inconvenient considering I wasn’t I had finished the artwork at the time.”

In total, the work took a year and cost £100,000, but it is now a beautiful property.

However, she loved the end result and said: “It’s much more spacious than I could have imagined, but it also proves that homes can be made from the most unexpected buildings.”
