A FORMER cleaning professional taught her how to quickly clean any space.
She said she has since become a master at keeping a spotless home.
Cindell Kimbrough (@cindellkimbrough) filmed himself taking a walk around his own home in a viral video on TikTok.
She gave viewers a candid look at what a home can be like when tidying up is on the back burner.
Kimbrough broke the process down into simple steps that anyone can follow.
She said her “cleaning system” can leave even larger homes spotless in no time.
The 411
For the first step, she instructed viewers to work in one “room” at a time.
She specified that any “large open space” could be counted as a “room.”
First, she takes care of each room by placing the clutter on the floor in its proper resting place.
She added that if you find an item that belongs elsewhere, it should be saved to be taken to another location later.
His justification for this is that people often get distracted when entering a different room.
Then she said she picks a corner and starts cleaning around the perimeter.
She used microfiber towels to clean door and window ledges.
“This is how you do it quickly and efficiently,” she said.
CLEAR ABNORMALS
Other cleaning fans on TikTok expressed their thoughts in the comments section.
“That time explains finding a box of old photos and sitting for an hour looking at each one,” wrote one.
“Don’t take it to another room – best advice ever. I spend all day cleaning and nothing changes,” added another.
“I’m the opposite – if I do a room completely, the day is done. My sense of accomplishment is very high,” said a third.
“The way I never cleaned my door inserts. Amazing,” wrote another.
“I never did that before I was a cleaner. I never looked at them. Now I can look at them and tell if they’ve been dusted with the naked eye,” Kimbrough responded.
Some even chimed in with their own cleaning advice.
“Bring a trash can and a laundry basket,” one of them said. “The laundry basket is for travel items that visit that room. The trash can is for reducing things.”
