He took to YouTube to post the videowhich he filmed at the bakery while working alongside his son Luke.

“We have tons to do, so it’s going to be a little stressful today, but hey, what can we do?” Noel began.

He arrived at the bakery shortly after 9am, but things didn’t get off to a good start when the butcher didn’t turn up with the steak for the pies, which Noel said would “leave us a little behind”.

He then began preparing the day’s orders, including one for a wholesaler who had ordered about 190 pies.

Noel then took the camera to his mixer, which was preparing dough to make pie bases for two pie carts.

The Radford family

“We’ll just have to do the best we can, but everything needs to be made today, baked today, so everything can be cooled and shipped tomorrow.

“No excuses, we have to finish today and that’s it!”

So it was 10:30am and the steak hadn’t arrived yet, but Noel’s pastry machine was working overtime and he started working on the dough for the big family-sized pies.

The steak arrived later, and Noel checked the temperature before starting to cook it, as well as checking the temperature throughout the cooking process.

He also noted that everything has special batch codes so they can quickly figure out which pie is which if they need to.

Big family, big decisions, the Radfords’ new chapter

Once the pies were ready and the cooling process was aided by an industrial fan, Noel got ready to pack.

“Now I’m home for my second filming job this afternoon,” he said, as the family is filming the next season of 22 Kids and Counting.

“I don’t think it will be much, little by little, and then it will be a shower and bed.

“This is my Rock and Roll lifestyle, guys, this is it – it’s the best it gets!”

While some fans loved joining Noel on his busy day at work, some eagle-eyed viewers had some concerns about the bakery’s setup — namely, that the patriarch didn’t appear to be wearing gloves or covering his hair while working with the bakery. food.

“Don’t you need to cover your hair with a net or a hat?” one wrote.

As another added: “I was thinking the same, and don’t you need to wear gloves?”

“He should wear gloves and a hair net – hygiene should be the top priority… hair down, etc,” commented a third.

“Why don’t you wear hair protectors and hand gloves?” someone asked.

While another said: “I love your videos but why don’t you wear gloves when you’re working with food?

“Sorry, but this should be standard practice because of contamination…disappointing because it’s basic hygiene!”

However, others insisted that Noel did not need to wear gloves because this was food manufacturing and not a restaurant, but there were still arguments over whether or not a hair covering should be worn.

“I also prepare food, here only the counter staff wear gloves and not while you prepare the food”, commented one person.

“Hairnets, yes, for sure!”

“Comments full of people arguing about hair coverings and gloves, blah, blah, blah, wouldn’t you know?” another grumbled.
