A GARDENING enthusiast has revealed a simple trick to encourage the growth of stubborn lemon trees.
She showed off a lemon tree thriving in her backyard before sharing the unmissable tip.

According to Gardeners’ Worldlemon trees do best in high humidity environments and need a sheltered, sunny location.
They require weekly feedings with liquid seaweed and citrus fertilizer, plus once-weekly watering.
Divya Kanwar (@indiangreendreams) has almost 88,000 followers on Instagram, where she shares gardening hacks.
She went viral on the app after revealing how to improve the growth of lemon trees.

She cut lemons from a flowering plant before showing it was strategically placed next to a basil plant.
The green-fingered homeowner said the companion planting trick can help attract pollinators to his lemon trees.
“Not all flowers will turn into fruits as it depends on the age of your plant,” said Divya.
“In addition to feeding your plant well so that it has the energy to bear fruit.”
Almost 11 thousand people liked the video and many viewers took to the comments section thanking him for sharing the tip.
“Wow, thank you so much for this trick. I will try this immediately,” one person wrote.

According to RHSBasil can be grown from seed indoors or purchased in a pot.
The herb grows best in warm conditions but needs a sunny, sheltered location.
The hack comes later Budget Seeds gardening expert Craig Morley told The US Sun that the herb can be used to deter pests.
“There are several methods you can try to keep pests away that don’t involve the use of chemical pesticides,” he said.
