A BARGAIN shopper shared the score of kitchenware she discovered at the thrift store.
They had to dig through piles of kitchen utensils in the back to uncover the pricey second-hand find.
Editor Seperu shared their purchases in a viral post.
In one photo, they revealed they purchased a Le Creuset fondue pot for just a fraction of the cost.
“I bought it for just 10 dollars!” they wrote.
The local thrift store had a variety of fondue items to choose from, but luckily for them, they didn’t settle for the first one they saw.
The popular brand has been hidden from casual browsers.
“They had about four to five different fondue sets,” they explained.
“This Le Creuset was hidden behind a pile of them. New, never used.”
The saver was thrilled to discover that the fondue pot was like new, inclusions and all.
“The original ethanol gel for the fire is still in the original packaging. It was marked down to 30 dollars. It was a discount day for small kitchen appliances, so I got a big discount!” they added.
They said they were already preparing recipes to make desserts with the find.
“I’ve made fondue several times before using a regular pot,” they explained.
“I also regularly make chocolate fondues for dessert and I believe this will certainly elevate the experience.”
Although the lucky buyer was able to close the deal for the price of a cheap meal, the actual value of the pot is much higher.
Vintage French fondue pots sell for up to $380 and are highly coveted among kitchen utensil fans.
