A DOG that took hours to feed and had several bad habits left a dog sitter shaken by her experience with the breed.

They confessed to counting the time until the owner picked up the dog due to its “bad” behavior.

The now-deleted Redditor went to Pet Sitting Rover forum to challenge users to guess the race based on their terrifying encounter.

“He’s a sweet little dog, but in a neurotic, Velcro kind of way,” they wrote.

“The best I can describe it is an untrained ball of anxiety.

“Untrained doesn’t even describe it.

“He doesn’t know a single command, he’s not socialized, he has no limits, he’s the worst walker ever and so on.

“He walks like a cat on a leash, lmao – creeping, tail tucked, changing direction every 5 seconds, neurotic and pulling at me.

“It gets even sadder – this dog won’t eat, and I’m talking anorexia-level food refusal.”

The pet sitter said she was “concerned” that the owner said the dog only eats once a day and only cooked chicken.

The canine can also play with its food, despite running the risk of becoming malnourished.

“As a result of being able to form such bad habits, it takes me several hours a day to feed this dog, which is crazy,” the Redditor continued.

“I am of the opinion that this owner should not have a dog.

I’m a dog groomer – the ‘madness’ for a certain breed has to stop, they are not hypoallergenic as people think

“No limits, no work was done on this poor little dog. After working with this puppy and treating him like a dog, I made some progress with him.

“But I know it will regress when I return home.

“I decided not to return him due to his bad eating habits and the owner’s lack of recognition or willingness to change the situation.

“Now, why don’t you guess the breed of this dog?”

Replies to the thread were quick to acknowledge that the nanny was describing her experience with a doodle.

“Obviously a scribble,” one person wrote.

“This scenario is what the breed’s inventor said worried them, so much so that they regretted having invented the doodles!

“They are amazing dogs, but high-maintenance personalities and need very engaged owners.”

Signs that your dog may become dangerous

Expert advice from Dr. Sara Ochoa, who has practiced veterinary medicine for over five years.

Ochoa told The US Sun that observing a dog’s behavior can provide clues that he may act out.

“A dog that appears completely tense, with its fur sticking up or its teeth showing, is more likely to snap,” she said.

“Looking closely without blinking can also mean problems.

“Growling is also a warning that the dog is getting angry.”

She said dogs may tuck their tails between their legs when they feel scared or threatened.

“Remaining calm and maintaining space can help things not escalate if a dog appears nervous,” she said.

“It’s always a scribble,” said another. “I admit that I have met some wonderful doodles, but they are few and far between.”

“Definitely a doodle,” added a third.

“Lol, I feel like they are always out of control – usually because [because] their owners don’t realize how much work it is when they get them and don’t take the time to work with them.”

According to Spiritual Dog Traininga doodle is “any type of mixed breed dog” crossed with a Poodle.

They come in various sizes and colors and are known for having high energy, which is demonstrated by jumping, humping and barking.

Owners are advised to dedicate at least two hours daily to exercising their dogs.

Doodles are not recognized as a dog breed by the American Kennel Club, which is a trusted registry for canines.
