A DIY genius has shared a simple trick to make your home smell great, without candles or cooking involved.
Luan shared his cheap hack through a video posted to his TikTok channel, which he often uses to share DIY tips.

“Thanks to this trick, my house smells like a rich man’s house,” he said.
Demonstrating his method, Luan took a lemon and cut it into four quarters.
He then placed the lemon slices in a small bowl and added a tablespoon of coarse salt.
NextLuan added three tablespoons of isopropyl alcohol to the bowl.
He said, “If you like the smell of citrus, put this bowl in your bathroom or living room.”
To increase the scent, Luan said you can add a capful of concentrated fabric softener to the mixture.
Or, if you want to keep things natural, you can opt to place a handful of cloves on top of the lemon.
Luan said: “This will also help to scare away insects, as they don’t like the smell of cloves.”
The DIY genius said he likes to put the bowls for all the house.
“Be prepared that visitors will ask how your house smells so good,” he said.
Luan’s hack is super cheap and all the ingredients combined should cost less than £1.
