A RENTER has revealed her home decorating advice that won’t put a security deposit at stake.
They said they stole the $16 game changer from Amazon.
Editor Brettlike Pants asked for advice on suitable decor for renters in a post on the social media platform.
He issued a call for guidance on “genuinely renter-friendly hacks”.
“I’ve always been interested in the concept of ‘peel and stick,’ but I feel like I see a lot of content about how it can be more harmful than you might think when renting,” he said.
“Are there brands or methods that work better? Any other easily reversible design hacks for rent?

“I’m thinking about moving in the next few months, but I haven’t decided on a place yet.
“It took me about two years to actually decorate my current house, but it’s just rugs, wall decor, plants, etc.”
GET THAT DEPOSIT
Another Redditor weighed in with their decorating advice for renters.
“Check out No No Brackets,” they replied.
“They are curtain rod holders that require no installation other than attaching them to your existing blinds, so they are very easy to rent.
“It is attached to the handrail already installed for the blinds.
“I have them on some windows as well as the sliding door area.”
However, the Redditor pointed out that brackets present a potential drawback.
“The downside is that if you want the curtains to be taller/wider than the window itself, you’re out of luck,” they said.
“But on the other hand, I think they’re an interesting solution.”
The friendly renter No No brackets are available on Amazon, $15.95.
DELICIOUS ASSESSMENTS
Amazon shoppers also praised the renter-friendly solution.
“Makes hanging curtains to cover ugly vertical blinds so easy,” wrote one.
“Consider purchasing a third piece for the middle of the shaft.”
“I didn’t want to put holes in the walls because my windows are really tall and have blinds so the curtains would hang awkwardly with normal curtains,” said another.
“It fits perfectly on top of the blind system and is very resistant. Very easy and quick to attach.”
