One person revealed they were furious after a dog owner didn’t pick up their pet’s feces in the garage, so decided to get revenge.

They told how they had a security camera that documented the moment the dog ‘committed the crime’ and the footage allowed them to track down the owner.
The owner explained: “Someone let their dog shit on our path.
“We had a security camera.
“I searched through hours of footage and discovered the incident (the guy stood up and saw his dog taking a long shit, looked around and walked away).
“I took a screenshot, posted it on the street Whatsapp group, found the culprit and his address, printed the screenshot, laminated it, took the shit and stapled the big one to the laminated image.
The furious owner said he then took matters into his own hands and returned the poop to the owner of the defecating dog.
They added that they left the incriminating photo and bag of poop “on the doorstep”.
It included a message that said: “Top tip! Bring a poop bag and also a phone.”
The owner said it was the “meanest” and “proudest” moment of his life.
Many people said they would have taken revenge too if this had happened to them.
One wrote: “This is the level of pettiness I aspire to.”
Another said: “I am absolutely here for this behavior.”
A third commented: “Not all heroes wear capes. Some have laminators and a lot of free time.”
However, one person said: “Could he press charges?”
It is illegal to leave dog poop in public areas, as it is not only unpleasant but can also be dangerous.
Fines for uncollected dog messes vary between constituencies, but dog owners can receive a Fixed Penalty Notice of up to £100 on the spot if they have not tidied up their dog’s mess.
In rare cases, dog walkers can even receive a fine for failing to present a dog poop bag when walking their dogs. Pets in public.
Although charges can vary from council to council, refusing to pay can result in a day in court and a £1,000 fine.
