A FRUSTRATED woman shared her neighbor’s revenge on her prized mulberry tree.

Although he wants the tree to fall for his dog’s sake, she tells him he is barking up the wrong tree.

Editor Mannequin shared his neighbor’s drama in a viral post.

The 32-year-old explained that she has been lucky enough to have a thriving mulberry tree in her backyard for years.

“It’s tall, but it doesn’t hang over the fence or invade my neighbor’s property,” she explained.

“Every summer I look forward to picking the delicious blackberries and enjoying them in salads, smoothies and baked goods.”

Your neighbor, however, seems to think the tree is more of a nuisance to his house than it really is.

“[He] has been pestering me non-stop about the tree,” she said.

“His problem? His dog’s paws turn purple from walking through the mulberry stains on the sidewalk, and he worries about the stains on his white carpet when the dog comes inside.

“At first, I tried to be understanding and polite, but his constant complaints became more and more annoying.”

His tactics include ambushing her and cornering her outside her home.

“He started waiting for me to leave and then confronted me about the tree, berating me for being ‘insensitive’ and ‘selfish,’” she said.

Although she remained steadfast in keeping the tree, he wood don’t back down.

“I had to be more and more firm with him, telling him that the tree is not a problem and that he needs to take responsibility for his dog’s mess,” she explained.

“But he won’t give up and it’s starting to feel like harassment. I’m tired of being bullied and feeling guilty for cutting down a tree that’s rightfully mine.”

People encouraged her to work, even though her neighbor refused to leave her alone.

How to Get Rid of Blackberry Stains

Specialists in New Scientist shared ways to remove blackberry stains.

New Scientist writer David Muir explained that stains are susceptible to acids, such as milk, due to their pH-sensitive composition.

“The stain-removing ability of unripe berries and milk is due to their acidity,” he said.

“Unripe fruits are more acidic than ripe ones, hence their sour taste. Milk is also acidic. The acidity of blackberries is due to citric and ascorbic acids and that of milk is due to lactic acid.”

Writer Lewis O’Shaughnessy added that unripe red mulberry juice is effective in removing stains left over from ripe black berries.

The reason, he explained, is that the two juices contain the same solvent but different pigment molecules.

“Perhaps the red molecules bind less strongly to the skin or are more water-soluble,” he said.

“Applying red cranberry juice to a dark cranberry stain applies more solvent, mixing it back into a solution and making it easier to wash.”

“He just needs to walk on the other side of the street. What’s wrong with this guy?” asked an incredulous commenter.

“This is definitely harassment. My advice is to get an estimate of the monetary value of the tree [from] a professional and casually mention to your neighbor that [if] Whatever happens to the tree, the perpetrator can be prosecuted and receive full compensation,” they added.

“Depending on where you live, there may be more laws protecting trees. Educate yourself about your (and the tree’s) rights. Get a wildlife camera, just in case.”

They added that if the harassment continued, she had the right to take action to protect her peace.

“At this point, simply ignoring this creep (who the hell expects their neighbor to come out and harass them?) is more than justified, in fact,” they said.

“Stand your ground,” agreed another.
