A stay-at-home wife proudly shared the home-cooked meals she prepares for her blue-collar husband every day.

Jackie, 48, cooks a wide range of “tasty” dinners for her partner, but her videos leave people horrified.

On TikTok, Jackie, who is also an aunt, shared more than twenty videos of her preparing some of her husband’s favorite dishes.

These include hot dogsomelets, pancakes and fish pies.

But viewers were left horrified by the amount of salt and oil she uses while cooking.

Some even wondered how her “husband is still alive.”

In one particular video, Jackie gave a step-by-step guide on how she cooks a sweet and sour curry to her husband after “he worked a 13-hour shift.”

The video first showed Jackie cooking in a frying pan full of hot oil, before adding frozen rice in what appears to be a sweet and sour sauce.

She then adds a generous amount of salt and pepper while the dish thaws in the hot oil.

After what seems like a few minutes, Jackie turns the block of rice over to allow the other side of the plate to begin to defrost.

Jackie also makes sure to add a generous amount of salt and pepper to both sides of the rice, before shaking the pan to allow it to thoroughly soak in the oil.

Once the rice and sauce begin to thaw, Jackie uses a metal spoon to help break them into smaller pieces.

She then mixes it with the generous amount of hot oil in the pan, before adding more salt and pepper to the dish.

Now that the dish is cooked, Jackie takes out the sweet and sour curry, ensuring all the oil is swept up as well.

She shared the video with her 80,000 followers and it has since gone viral with over 61,000 views.

More than 3,00 people rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts.

One of them asked, “Why do you use so much oil and add so much salt?”

Jackie hasn’t responded yet, but a few other people commented on the post and wrote, “It’s called a heart attack in a pot.”

Many people could not believe her cooking skills and were worried about her husband's health.

Another question: “How is it made at home?”

To which Jackie responded, “Because I made it at home and cooked it and added my own stuff.”

Many were concerned about her husband’s health and shared comments asking if he was “okay.”

One of them said: “I just want to see the worker husband and see if he is okay.”

Others simply explained how it stopped them from dining as they were horrified by her culinary content.

Jackie also shared videos of her cooking the “classic sausage, chips and beans” after her husband had a 12-hour shift.

But again, many were concerned and wondered if her husband was “still with us” due to the amount of salt and oil she uses in her cooking.

It appears that Jackie regularly cooks all of her dishes from frozen and uses a generous amount of oil and salt.

Many of her followers also tend to rush to the comments section and urge her to “put down the salt.”

Specialists in Harvard Chan School of Public Healthwarned people against using too much salt in cooking.
