A RELIEVED woman has spoken out about the sudden disappearance of her stalker.

The timing, she said, coincided exactly with her mother-in-law’s death.

A Editor shared their troubling family problems in a viral post.

“My MIL passed away suddenly in a car accident last month. At the same time, my ‘stalker’ disappeared,” she said.

The woman explained that she never had a good relationship with her mother-in-law from the beginning.

“She tried to sabotage my relationship with my husband from the day she met me,” she said.

“I wasn’t good enough for your handsome, successful son. I thought about ending my relationship several times, but my husband has always shown that he’s on my side. And I love him.”

For years, she was harassed by an unknown stalker online.

“A few years ago, I started receiving very threatening and scary emails and text messages from a Pax,” she said.

“This Pax knew everything about me. No matter how many emails and phone numbers I changed, they or ‘him’ always found me.

“I made several reports, but nothing happened. My husband went to great lengths to track the emails. Nothing came of it. Last year, I basically never left the apartment alone.”

After her mother-in-law passed away, the messages stopped arriving.

“It’s been a month since I’ve received a single threatening text message or email from Pax. After a few days, I wasn’t surprised.

“My husband still hasn’t reacted. He is consumed with grief and I don’t want to upset him, especially when he said to me bitterly ‘you must be very pleased now’ when we heard the news and I tried to comfort him (he later apologized and said who was feeling guilty for loving and choosing me more than he loved her).

In a follow-up publishThe Redditor shared her husband’s reaction to discovering the identity of his stalker.

She explained that her mother-in-law’s death gave her a new lease on life while she waited for her husband to connect the dots.

He said he always suspected her and even talked to her a few times about it and she made him feel very guilty by accusing him of being my simp.

“With 10 minutes of walking alone, then 15, then half an hour and so on. At first, my husband didn’t notice my freedom or maybe he did, but he was processing it himself,” she said.

“Last Friday I told him I was going out with the girls. Alone? Yes! Do you want me to take you there? No need! Aren’t you afraid anymore? No, my stalker won’t bother me again. He tells me He kissed me and wished me a good night.

“When I got home around midnight, he was still awake. He said he wanted to talk to me. He asked me: was my mother his stalker? Yes! He started crying.

“He said he always suspected her and even talked to her a few times about it and she made him feel very guilty by accusing him of being my simp.

“He said he noticed how I, after so many years of fear and anxiety, stopped crying in my sleep and he realized that I hadn’t woken him up in a month.

Her husband apologized for not protecting her from her family and despite his suspicions.

The apology, she explained, strengthened their relationship and marriage.

“Honestly, I’m not even mad or disappointed. If the police couldn’t help me, I don’t know how much my husband could have done and I just want to move on and put this behind me,” she said.

“We are going to start couples therapy and my husband is planning to tell his family that MIL was my stalker.

“He’s adamant about it, and honestly, I think it’s a good idea. My husband also decided not to attend the placement of the headstone on MIL’s grave.”

Viewers were happy to know that the two worked it out despite years of torment.

“I’m glad you’re enjoying life again. My [in-laws] They have their drama… but not to this extent. I can’t imagine!” said one commenter.

“Go out and have fun, OP. She can’t hurt you anymore,” said another.

“Resist the urge to piss on her grave (but I’d understand if you did).”
