Despite his investments, he still has a regular job as a 9am to 5pm warehouse worker at the supermarket chain in south-east London to continue fulfilling his property dreams.

“I haven’t dedicated myself to anything, I live very frugally and remain highly disciplined,” said Ayobami, originally from Dartford, Kent. Absolutely Business.

“When I was 20 years old I made a three, five and 10 year plan, which I will not deviate from.

“I still have my day job at Sainsbury’s where I work 40 hours a week.

“When I leave, I will definitely miss the management, who were not only flexible with my working hours, but also very supportive in growing my business.

“I’m here to do whatever is required of me to win and make future versions of myself proud of the work I’ve done in the past and present.

“For me, 20 to 25 is the time to work like hell, block out all the noise, distractions and temptations.

“There will come a time for me to seize it, but that time is not now, especially since I don’t believe in balance.”

Not everything was easy; the worker suffers from migraines and is often under pressure due to the intense workload.

Ayobami turned his pennies into pounds by working with private investors.

I was able to grow quickly by working with private investors who invest in my real estate business to get a return on their money,

“Instead of leaving your funds in the bank, which would decrease in value due to inflation.

“To date, I have raised £828,000 in investment for my property business.”

Ayobami has homes in Hull, East Yorkshire and Carlisle; he purchased seven properties in the latter.

He tends to opt for property portfolios rather than one-off purchases as “it’s a quicker and more efficient way to scale”.

The value of each house ranges from £95,000 to £220,000.

The property genius bought his first property in 2022 after working three days at Sainsbury’s, ASDA and care home company Kaplan Care, as well as moonlighting at Amazon.

He said: “I remember in 2021, whilst I was working at Sainsbury’s during the day, I was doing night shifts at Amazon.

“And there was a period when I didn’t sleep for three days in a row.

This journey has been extremely difficult, but I would do it all over again. I remember fondly every job I worked on, no matter how difficult it was.

Despite his impressive real estate portfolio, Ayobami still feels like he’s not doing enough.

He said: “There is always a nagging voice telling me that I am not doing enough, that there is still more work to be done and more to accomplish – and that voice is right.

“I have goals that I’m working towards that I’m very far away from, so in my head I haven’t achieved anything yet.

“The work never ends, I’m on a mission.

“I did all this when I was 23 – whilst still working at Sainsbury’s.

“I will never retire – I love the sport of business and will continue to build.”
