A WOMAN has been heavily criticized for showing off the mess in her garage studio.
Beatriz Gonzalez, mother of two children, lives with her husband and children in a small garage house.
However, it wasn’t the size of the house that left social media users stunned – it was the clutter and rubbish that covered the floors and surfaces.
Posting online, Beatriz gave a tour of her home to her followers.
Although the house may be small, with just one bedroom for the family of four to share, Beatriz said she is “living well” and living her “best life” with her brood.
The open-plan space is complete with a kitchen area – but social media users were left open-mouthed by the mass of dirty dishes in the sink and the mess on the countertops.
The house also has a bathroom area with a small shower, toilet, sink, as well as a washing machine and dryer in the corner.
Furthermore, there is also a living area complete with sofa, double bed and small child’s bed.
Proud of her garage house, Beatriz wrote: “Family of four living in a 20×20 studio-garage”.
Beatriz confessed that she would actually scrub the house, adding: “A quick first: time to clean our house!”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @beatrizgonzalez1237It clearly left many speechless as it racked up 165,600 views.
BIG DIVISION
But social media users were left completely divided by the clip – while some were more focused on the mess, others praised the ‘beautiful’ space.
One person said: “Just clean it up, it would look better.”
Another added: “There is no excuse for a house to be so dirty.”
You can make it a home, just clean it

A third commented: “It would probably look great if you fixed it up.
“I mean, the size doesn’t really matter, you can turn it into a house, just clean it up.”
Is it allowed to convert a garage into a bedroom?
USING average house price values from Zoopla, Admiral Loans crunched the numbers and found that each square meter of living space is worth an average of £350.
Typically, the size of a small detached garage in the UK is 128 square feet, making the additional space worth £45,000.
A standard conversion costs between £4,995 and £7,500 depending on the work you’ve carried out, according to Householdquotes.co.uk, which will obviously eat into your profits.
If the garage is attached to your house you won’t even need to pay for planning permission, which currently costs £206.
The work falls under “permitted development rules”, which allows you to make certain changes to your home, as long as they are within limits.
This is because you are not actually changing the exterior dimensions of the building.
But you will need to make an application to the local authority if your garage is separate from your house, if you live in a flat or maisonette or in a listed building.
Before starting any work, it is worth checking that there are no planning conditions associated with your property – you can do this by writing to your local authority.
If you proceed with building work that actually required permission, you may be ordered to dismantle it.
While someone else chimed in: “Be kinder if you clean.”
However, at the same time, others made a point of praising Beatriz’s configuration.
