A CLEANING genius has shared three inexpensive tricks to make your home smell amazing over the holiday weekend.
Chantel Mila shared her budgeting hacks through a video posted to her TikTok channel, which she often uses to share cleaning tips and tricks.
The busy mum revealed that one way to make her home smell nice is to clean out the fridge.
After emptying the food, scrub it with water and white vinegar.
Then add two tablespoons of vanilla extract (which you can buy from Aldi for 79p).
She said this will deodorize the fridge and leave it smelling “so fresh.”
Chantel’s next The trick is to clean the oven using a baking tray filled with water and lemon slices (you can buy lemons at the supermarket for about 30 cents).
Then, while it’s still hot, use baking soda (65p from Aldi) to get rid of the hard grease.
Lemon will leave your kitchen smelling citrusy and fresh.
Finally, cut up a lemon and sprinkle it with baking soda.
You can use this to clean your stainless steel kitchen sink.
This not only removes rust and limescale, it also deodorizes and leaves the area smelling citrusy and fresh.
All of these hacks are super cheap and will cost you less than £1.
You probably already have most of the ingredients in your kitchen cupboards.
Chantel’s video, which was posted under the username @mama_mila_likely left many impressed as it racked up over 148,000 views on the video-sharing platform.
TikTok users rushed to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts.
