A PLUS-SIZE fashionista has hit back at cruel trolls who mock her “apron belly” and say her build is “savage”.

Style-loving Lindsey is a size 22/24 and has an apron belly, a condition medically known as pannus stomach.

As explained by Very good healthThe so-called “apron belly” is used to describe a sagging belly or hanging skin in the abdominal region, which tends to occur sometimes – but not always – after pregnancy or changes in someone’s weight.

Having a pannus stomach is normal for many and not exclusive to plus-size people only – however, the condition can cause discomfort and even lead to skin infections.

With the rise of body positivity on social media, thousands of people are raising awareness about different medical conditions and preaching self-love, no matter the shape and size – and among them is also Lindsey.

The dark-haired stunner, who proudly calls herself ”Girlie Belly Apron” on Instagram and TikTok – regularly shares fashion-related content, after spending years believing that some trends were ”off limits” for her.

The fashionista, from Texas, USA, now wears whatever she wants, be it minidresses or bikinis, despite cruel trolls comparing her to Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc.

“Whatever this season is, it screams confidence,” she recently said in an uplifting post on her page.

If you have any issues with my plus size confidence, again, that’s on you.

But while her social media fan base is growing, with Lindsey regularly reminding herself to wear pieces that “make you feel good,” the style fan has also encountered an army of cruel bullies who mock her.

”Wild character creator build,” wrote one nasty person in a more recent clip.

Someone else added: “You can keep lying to yourself all you want, that’s not normal.”

“Someone actually tell me how this is possible,” asked one troll.

Fortunately, none of the negative comments seemed to have affected the young woman, who was reminded that human bodies come in all shapes and sizes, each of them worthy of being celebrated.

“We don’t all have flat stomachs and big booties, and that’s okay,” Lindsey wrote, posing proudly in cute denim shorts and a loose-fitting t-shirt.

”There is more than one “right” way to look at this world. It is our differences that make us beautiful.

”If you have any problems with my confidence in plus size, again it’s YOUR fault.”

She added that no matter what the bullies say or do, there is no stopping her – as Lindsey is here on a mission.

What is an apron belly?

Also known as pannus stomach or mother’s apron, so-called apron belly occurs when the belly and fat surrounding the internal organs expand due to weight gain or pregnancy.

As explained by Heathlinethis results in “additional fat deposits in the omentum (an apron-like flap under the abdominal muscles and in front of the intestines).”

While it’s completely normal for some — and men can develop this condition, too — an apron belly can increase your risk of some cancers, like ovarian cancer.

”I will be me, even if you have nasty things to say about me, because I am determined to make this world a kinder place for all of us.”

It’s not just the rising social media star encouraging others to be kinder — hundreds of other people rushed to hit back at the trolls, praising Lindsey’s message and positivity.

”Yesss! My exact body type,” wrote one fashionista.

“You are so beautiful,” another person told Lindsey, who has more than 11,000 followers on her Instagram.

“You are incredible!” another thanked the body positivity influencer for spreading the message.
