A WOMAN has explained how she took revenge in the pettiest way possible when her campsite was ruined by noisy tourists.

Hayley was with her family at a venue when “20 to 30 foreigners rocked up” and started playing their music – which continued until 2am.

“Listen, let’s remember this was a family site and only campers will understand that noise should be kept to a minimum after 10pm,” Hayley wrote in the caption of her TikTok. video.

“I expect some noise at camp – that comes with it – but definitely not before 2am when all the babies are trying to sleep.

“Ever have a sleep-deprived child at camp? It’s NOT worth it!

“Everyone is there for the same reason, to have fun, so don’t be an idiot and ruin it for everyone else!”

Hayley added that despite many people asking the large group to keep the noise down, they refused to do so until they turned everything off at 2am.

So, to get revenge, Hayley woke up at 5:30 am the next day and started having fun making noise.

“I’m being an absolute idiot waking up the camp,” she wrote at the top of the clip.

The video showed her repeatedly opening and closing the car door, as well as acting out a fake conversation with someone laughing a lot.

She also started singing “Good Morning”, before getting into her car and turning up the music as she sat there and smoked her vape.

“Luckily, there were no other tents in this area except this large family, so I didn’t wake anyone else up but them,” Hayley added.

Stayed at one of the best ‘small campsites’ in the UK

“I mean, I could have gotten in the car and honked the horn, but it would have woken up the entire park.

“Their heads were right next to my car door, so they were the first to wake up and get up, followed by the rest.”

“Yes, I was just being petty and getting revenge to make sure the babies slept that night,” she continued.

“And yes, opening the car door several times irritated them and woke them up because their heads were right next to my feet.

“I guarantee anyone commenting at 2am isn’t too late or I’m ab** and not familiar with camping/caravaning.”

Hayley concluded her video by revealing that her controversial methods worked.

“Did they repeat their actions the following night?” she wrote.

“No, afraid that crazy woman would wake them up again!”

Three Camping Tips from an Expert

David Scotland owns camping equipment retailer Outdoor World Direct and knows all about making a camping trip go well.

When visiting any campsite this summer, it’s important to make sure you don’t make any simple mistakes that could ruin your vacation.

Check your tent

David recommends setting up your tent a few weeks before your trip to give yourself enough time to repair or replace any damaged parts.

He told Sun Online Travel: “You’d be surprised how many people turn up with broken tents.”

Test the waters

Choosing a good location to pitch your tent is difficult and there are many things to consider.

One of them should be the condition of the land where you are pitching your tent, according to David.

He said: “Once you find the perfect spot, test the ground with your stakes before committing to camping there to make sure the ground is soft enough.”

Don’t take a nap in your tent

It may seem like the perfect place for it, but a nap in a tent can end badly if done at the wrong time of day.

David explained: “If the sun is shining and it’s hot inside your tent – don’t do it!

“One of our friends napped in his tent during a heatwave at Glastonbury and ended up in the medical tent with heatstroke.”

Instead, he recommends finding some shade outside or somewhere well-ventilated.

“Sometimes you have to act like a div!”

Hayley added in the caption: “What a Karen, what a fun sponge I am.

“Unless you go camping, you won’t make it!

“No, I don’t think I’m difficult, I’m just teaching them a lesson.

“But it worked – they turned off the music from 10:30 to 11 the next two nights!”

“Good for you, we did it too,” one person wrote in the comments section.

To which Hayley responded, “Never in all my years of camping have I encountered such a selfish and inconsiderate group of campers.

“I get it, everyone is there to have fun, but you need to be considerate of others after a certain hour.”

“The only thing I hate about camping is other people,” said another angrily.

“There are some really selfish people out there, aren’t there?”

“You are a psychopath and I love it,” a third laughed.

“This is DEFINITELY me!! Good for you, girl!” someone said.

With Hayley responding: “Childish, yes, but come on.

“No respect for anyone last night, then no respect for them this morning.”
