A gardening genius has shared a £1 trick to make your patio weeds disappear in an hour.

However, after a winter of neglect, our patios can be a little worn, with pesky weeds peeking through the cracks.
Weeds are notoriously difficult to get rid of, but one gardening fan has found the perfect solution – and it’s super cheap.
Posting on Mrs Hinch Gardening On the Facebook Tips page, a user revealed that she managed to make the weeds disappear from her patio in just one hour.
She said, “My God, I just sprayed my weeds on the patio with vinegarsalt and detergent solution and within an hour they were dead.
“It’s incredible, I can’t believe it worked so quickly. I am absolutely delighted. I used just under four liters of water, a cup of salt and a tablespoon of detergent.”
“I first heard about it in another gardening group, I didn’t expect results, but it worked really well.”
Other group members rushed to the comments section of her post to praise this method.
One person said: “I can totally agree.
“I tried this and it worked within an hour. Amazing.”
Another user said: “I used undiluted vinegar on the weeds that appeared on my monoblock paving and it worked.
“They didn’t come back.”
A third said: “It works, I use it all the time.”
“That’s all I use.”
All the ingredients in this method are extremely cheap and making the mixture will probably cost no more than £1.

Salt is a great natural alternative to toxic herbicide.
It works by increasing ion levels in the soil and increasing osmotic pressure, which means weeds will not be able to absorb water and will dry out.
Gardening Tips and Tricks
White vinegar works in a similar way, as its acidity breaks down the cell walls and removes moisture from the weeds.
Liquid dish soap does not work on its own to kill weeds, but it improves the effectiveness of the formula by trapping the salt and vinegar on the weeds.
