A HOME improvement expert has revealed her affordable tricks for making your space feel more luxurious.
She expressed the importance of opting for attractive decor and household items that make daily tasks easier.
Hannah Jones is a real estate agent and home improvement specialist with over three years experience working on high profile projects.
Speaking to The US Sun, she shared budget-friendly tricks for updating your home.
SMART CLEANING
Jones said bidets have become increasingly popular among homeowners looking for a luxurious addition to their bathroom.
More than 17,000 Hello Tushy shoppers gave the under-$100 gadget a 5-star rating.
The Tushy bidet is designed to use water from your sink or shower to clean the bottom.
Jones described bidets as “one of the most convenient appliances” to invest in.
“It has many advantages, including being an environmentally friendly device, reducing the use/waste of toilet paper and generally increasing hygiene and sanitation in the bathroom,” she said.
STYLISH SETS
Jones revealed that her “biggest” tip for homeowners is to avoid embracing the matching trend.
She said this applies to choosing sofas, bedding and even dining sets.
“It makes your space feel a little uninspired because it looks like you didn’t want to put any thought and effort into the decor and just bought it off the shelf,” she said.
The interior designer said that the matching sets are outdated, it is better to mix and match the furniture.
“Buy a white 3-seater sofa along with a patterned armchair,” she said.
“A contemporary style really shows off the beauty of the room.”

BRILLIANT IDEA
Jones didn’t neglect the kitchens, as he praised the addition of oversized pendant lighting to give the space “personality.”
“Big, bold and beautiful,” she said.
“You can easily choose a large lighting fixture and add three or four bulbs and use it as a large pendant light above the kitchen.
“This will save you the hassle of putting up three lights and the whole process, instead you can just pick one and go.”
A 3-group pendant light is available at Target for just $62.99.
One customer said it gave their dining area a “modern look”, as they joined others in giving it a 5-star rating.
