A WOMAN has revealed guests walked out of her wedding after discovering the “ridiculous” rules she had set for her big day.
The bride shared her list of rules through a video posted on social media, leaving many people shocked.

The first rule of the women’s list was that everyone helped put together the event.
She said she didn’t hire any staff, so everyone had to do their part, even her grandfather, who had to arrange the chairs despite having back problems.
Next on the list was the fact that wedding guests were only allowed two alcoholic drinks during the day.
The bride revealed that this was to save money and also “to avoid any family drama from drinking too much.”
The third rule was that no one was allowed to leave their seat unless they were going to drink, eat or go to the bathroom.
The bride said: “Some guests just want to stay with the group and not socialize, and that has to be respected.”
Guests were also not allowed to use a camera and instead had to download an app that allowed them to take 10 photos, which were uploaded to a shared album.
Finally, the woman revealed that all wedding guests had to leave by 10:30 am.
She said: “We love party-goers who want to stay up and have fun.
“But my husband and I still work in the morning, so we need to get a good night’s sleep, like any other day.”
The video, which was posted on @povcameraapp5 The TikTok account likely left many speechless as it has racked up over 97,000 views on the video-sharing platform.
TikTok users rushed to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts.
One person said: “Sorry, but why would you work the day after your wedding?”
Another person said: “One of the best parts of a wedding is spending time with friends and family… Having everyone “remain seated” is crazy…”

I’m a traditionalist, so I love going to a wedding with a list. A list where prices vary, the prezzies are a mix and there is something for all tastes. The joy of a list is that we know the bride and groom want these things, and we know no one else will buy the same things – to me, that’s a win-win. I got married 8 years ago and I still remember who bought us a certain frame or that fancy plate that only comes out at parties.
But that being said, if someone doesn’t have a list, I would NEVER show up empty-handed. That’s totally rude. Even if the wedding cost an arm and a leg to get there. A wedding takes months, if not years, of planning, costs a fortune and is one of the best days out and parties you’ll ever go to, so a small gesture of thanks is essential.
I still remember those who didn’t even bring a card for mine!
Also, I don’t think a couple should argue if their guests want to give them a wedding gift that isn’t on their list – older generations, in particular, may feel this is more personal.
To be honest, it’s the weddings where the couple wants money contributed towards the honeymoon or the house fund that makes me uncomfortable. Is £50 tight and £150 too luxurious? Where is the reference? I spend weeks agonizingly talking to someone or everyone and then I usually stab myself in the middle.
So for me – always look for a list, follow it and let the list be your guide!!
