Miami Beach native Gloria Mantell Pallot made history when she walked in the famous fashion show on Sunday.

Pallot is the oldest person to participate in the official Miami Swim Week event.

She spoke to 7 Newsa local Fox affiliate, about her experience participating in the show.

Pallot described being nervous because of her age, but explained that she worked on preparing for the event.

“I ride my bike and then I do general exercises, you know, stretching, a lot in the chair, then I get up and stretch,” she said.

Pallot also revealed her motivation for participating in the beachwear show.

“My son’s girlfriend is a model and they encouraged me to do it, my grandson and his girlfriend, that I should do it,” she explained.

Pallot shared that she had “thoughts” about taking part in the show.

She said the last time she walked down the aisle with so many eyes on her was on her wedding day 73 years ago.

Now that she’s publicly known for her beauty, Pallot shared some of the secrets to her long, healthy life.

World’s first AI beauty pageant deemed ‘more of a curse than a blessing’ as people claim the world is ‘getting dumber’

“A positive attitude, having lots of close friends and a good husband, as well as eating healthy and exercising,” she said.

The new model represented Love for Upcycling, a sustainable brand, at the parade.

Pallot’s presence at the event and the overall lifestyle reflect the company’s values.

The brand advocates keeping the old and the new, and not discarding one for the other.

Instead, they repurpose the old and use it to create something beautiful and timeless.

In addition to walking arm in arm with two male models, Pallot appeared in the grand finale of the show.

She proved to be a crowd favorite, going viral online for her record-breaking appearance.
