A HANDY bride has shared how she put together a homemade bouquet for her big day.
She created affordable wedding DIY with supplies from Michael and the dollar store.
Editor Xriny shared the creative wedding project in a viral post.
“I made my own wedding bouquet today!” she said.
A photo revealed the elegant arrangement of fake flowers in pastel pink, lilac and white.
Some spectators were so impressed with his skills that they started lining up to buy.
“Amazing, are you accepting orders? Because that looks professional,” said one commenter.
The bride, however, explained that the project was easy enough that anyone could do it themselves.
“Honestly, it’s just a bouquet of fake flowers and dollar store lace!” she said.
“[It] It was super cheap, accessible and easy to assemble.”
She revealed that she bought the flowers on Amazon and craft store Michael’s.
Other brides who were hoping to save money on their celebrations were inspired by her project.
“It’s beautiful! Some of my bridesmaids are trying to convince me to make real flowers,” said one.
“Seeing how good yours turned out makes me feel better about my decision.
“Did you use a tutorial or something for the placement of the flowers? Also, you found it difficult to find realistic looking baby’s breath. Where did you get yours?”
The Redditor explained that she had no prior flower arranging experience and luckily didn’t need it.
“Honestly, no, I just went for it. But I’m very crafty; that comes naturally when you have all the flowers in front of you!” she said.
“All my flowers are from Michaels; the foliage and the lavender [are] of the Amazon.
“I just looked for soft, silky flowers that had a more real appearance.”
For green, she explained that she opted for the most natural choice possible.
“I chose ‘rabbit ear leaf’ because it looked soft and natural. The leaves looked more realistic [that’s] why I chose this. The feel of the petals is important,” she said.
“Honestly, I just picked the flowers that looked most natural to me!
“I gardened a lot in the summer, so I wanted it to look as real as possible!”
