That’s because a woman named Sarah Halliday joined the Facebook group Gardening with an official budget and shared her mom’s genius hack for transforming her outdoor retreat in an instant — and on the cheap.

And perhaps the best part of all? You simply need a shower curtain.

Yes, you heard that right!

The popular trend, which sees people buying shower curtains with quaint or exotic prints and hanging them on their fence or garden wall, has taken social media by storm in recent years.

And people are claiming that this post by Sarah is one of the “best they’ve ever seen” – and it’s easy to see why.

She posted an image of the cheap product, which can be purchased from the likes of Amazon or eBay, after it was attached to her mother’s fence.

Where, what, which shower curtain? I can’t see any haha. It looks incredible!

It features a stunning impression of greenery surrounding a stone arch and gives the illusion that the backdrop is a real part of your outdoor space.

Alongside the images, she wrote: “My mum copied the idea from the shower curtain at the bottom of her garden – it looks great!”

In fact, the shower curtain matches the outdoor area perfectly, Sarah added: “I put up another photo so everyone can see where it is.”

And the results are so impressive that it’s no wonder the post quickly received more than 300 likes and several comments from very impressed social media users.

I transformed my messy, overgrown garden with bargains from B&M just in time for summer – £1.50 purchase made a huge difference

“This is one of the best I’ve ever seen,” praised one.

A second wrote: “Wow! Incredible love!”

A third commented: “This is the best I’ve ever seen! Where does the curtain begin?”

Meanwhile, a fourth gushed: “OMG this is brilliant!”

Another noted: “It matches fantastically!”

And another added: “Where, what, which shower curtain? I can’t see any haha. It looks amazing!”

How to add shower curtains to your garden?

With summer just around the corner, you can easily revamp your garden with a shower curtain. Here’s how to check the appearance:

Eye for design – first, you need to find the perfect print online. Amazon, eBay and Temu have countless options, from faux brick walls to tropical hideaways.

You can even create a faux rose bush, with pretty floral prints – depending on where you hang the shower curtain.

Attention to the details – next, you’ll need to check if the curtains fit in your space.

Although you can cut them, it’s best to get the closest fit possible so the design works in your space.

To switch off – there are countless ways to hang curtains, the best way is to fix them to the wall, shed or fence with nails.

Alternatively, you can use a staple gun, but you need to make sure the way you attach them lasts.
