A second-hand buyer would not expect to find jewelry at such a bargain price.
People couldn’t believe that the saver had gotten such a real gem – literally.
Redditor 600-shot-of-autism knew he had won the lottery when he saw the bracelet.
“I found this in the jewelry bucket at a local thrift store,” they said.
“I took it to a local jeweler and confirmed that it is 10 carat gold with diamonds,” they continued.
The theft was certainly not marked at market value – not even close.
“I paid 25 cents,” they said.
The discovery featured gold Xs between diamond designs.
They also showed the clasp with the marking, confirming its true gold status.
Others also seemed not to believe in buying at a discount.
“It was your lucky day!” wrote one Redditor.
After all, they knew what it was like to achieve such an exciting discovery.
“I was thrilled when I found a sterling silver brooch marked Tiffany and Co. for $1,” they said. Isn’t that the best feeling?” they asked.
Still, one Redditor was curious about the potential value of the pricey piece.
“This is amazing. So what would something like this be for resale? Honestly, I never look at jewelry because I don’t know anything about it,” they said.
“Five hundred and fifty to six hundred dollars,” they replied.
They shared how one of the reasons they knew it was real was the “specific appearance” of the gold — and, of course, the markings.
Valuable, cost-effective discoveries revealed

Here are some of the best thrift store finds:
One platform user pointed out some ways to try to have your own lucky day on your next budget trip.
“You have to know what quality/authenticity is. Thrift store prices can sometimes be wrong, so you need to be polite going in there,” they said.
Another still questioned what they would do with the gold and diamond bracelet.
“Are you going to keep it or sell it? Congratulations on your wonderful discovery!” said another Redditor.
“Give it to my mother,” they replied.
The US Sun previously reported how one saver shared his own $15 bracelet score on Reddit.
The purchase, which also included gold and diamonds, ended up being worth more than US$500.
