It’s no secret that planning the perfect wedding involves a lot of important decisions.

And a bride-to-be was left mortified after her daughter pointed out a small oversight with her wedding bouquet.

Posting on Facebook, the woman showed off the bouquet of artificial flowers.

“I got my bouquet in the mail and my daughter said it looks like a powdered wig from the 1800s,” she said.

“Now I don’t know if I liked it. What do you think, should I return it?”

The flowers in the bouquet appeared to be made from a patch of white twisted to look like roses, and pearls and diamonds adorned the spaces between them.

There were even butterflies and diamond flowers for an extra touch.

But all of this combined with the bouquet’s droopy shape made it look more like a wig from Netflix’s Bridgerton rather than an elegant wedding bouquet.

The post was then shared on a Facebook group dedicated to ‘wedding shaming’ anonymously and people agreed that the bouquet was a total fail.

One commented on the post: “I didn’t read the caption and thought it was a cool cosplay wig.”

“It looks like Elsa’s hair [from Frozen]”, said a second.

“This is the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen,” said a third.

I thought I’d found the perfect wedding guest dress – but I was fooled by it being ‘too short’ and ‘nightgown-like’

And another wrote: “This has literally zero redeeming qualities other than the fact that it is returnable.”

“I never understood this satin rose bouquet trend. It doesn’t look good with anything,” agreed another person.

And while one person liked the “vibe” the bride was going for, they agreed that the shape of the bouquet didn’t work.

“It’s a shame when your 13 year old daughter has better sense than you, I hope she listened to you,” another person added.

And someone else joked: ‘Wait… so it’s NOT a wig??? Well, my flab is significantly gassed.’

Meanwhile, others thought the design looked more like an “old wedding cake”.

Someone else had other ideas, however, saying: “Without my glasses, the first look was a hornet’s nest, not the theme I would choose for a wedding.”

However, it’s not the only failed wedding that has people talking online recently: a woman was criticized for her wedding guest outfit.

On social media, the woman shared an image of her wedding guest dress that left everyone telling her to think again and change her outfit.

The image showed a form-fitting dress in a sultry beige fabric that clung to her curves.

Across the beige fabric was a gold pattern for extra glamour.

The excited wedding guest noticed that she was opting for cocktail attire with the look.

She wrote: No dress code, the place is a high-end restaurant, the hours are from afternoon until 3 am!”

But everyone agreed that it was not suitable for someone else’s wedding.

The post, which was first seen in the Reddit group Wedding Attire Approval It soon garnered hundreds of comments.

Many of the people who saw the post claimed it was inappropriate – even adding that it was better suited for the bride of the day.

One person wrote: “That’s a hard NO. If you dress up in that number right after lunch, you’ll be noticed for all the wrong reasons.

“That’s never a good thing, especially in a marriage.”
