BEING a mother can sometimes be difficult, but imagine trying to raise children who are just a few years younger than you.
One mother, however, has revealed she is just a decade older than her children and cruel trolls are now claiming she will be a grandmother in her 30s.

Although her family may be unconventional, Tasia Taylor doesn’t seem to mind.
Despite being just 24 years old, she is already a proud mother of two teenage children and her youngest son is just 8 years younger than her.
Their growing brood now includes Tamiray, 16, Rory, 14, her brother Isaiah, 12, and 2-month-old Ashtyn Rose.
Before you start scratching your head and wondering how this is possible, there’s a surprisingly simple explanation.
Tasia and her husband Drew, 26, were newlyweds when they began looking for foster care and starting a family.
Although they thought they would end up caring for younger children, that wasn’t exactly what happened, as the teachers explained.
Appearing in an episode of Truly is my extraordinary familyTasia admitted: “We didn’t know they would let us take a teenager.”
It wasn’t long before the couple were joined by Rory, 14, who also happened to be a student in Tasia’s class.
Although the foster placement was temporary, they later received a call saying that Rory’s younger brother, Isaiah, was in dire need of a place to stay.
Desperate not to separate the teenager from her brother, the kind teachers also took in the 12-year-old girl.
This despite the fact that he is only 8 years younger than her.
Their family was far from complete.
Having already opened the house to two children, they decided to welcome 16-year-old Tamiray – Tasia’s cousin.
“My grandmother was raising her and now she is very sick, she has cancer”, revealed the 24-year-old.
She continued: “We were just going to seek legal guardianship, but after we adopted both children, it was very important to Tay that she be adopted.
“We actually adopted her a few weeks ago.”
However, there was a surprise addition to the family, baby Ashtyn Rose – the couple’s only biological child.

“We went from zero to four in less than two years… we got a little overwhelmed,” Drew teased in the short documentary.
Unfortunately, not everyone expected so much from this unusual family.
When Tasia started sharing her family’s story on TikTok, they were relentlessly targeted by trolls on the app – who left countless cruel comments.
Although she tried to raise awareness about adoption and adoption, Tasia was inundated with some users claiming they were “too young” to raise her children.
However, these are not the comments that hurt Tasia.
“It’s not really about age… I think we’re really mature for our age,” she explained, saying, “The worst comments we’ve gotten have been from people assuming Drew is ‘disgusting’ or doing things to our kids.
“It makes me deeply upset just to hear that…it also makes me wonder where their hearts are?”
Although these may stingthe mother of four doesn’t think much as she is too busy raising her four children.

How does adoption work?
In the United Kingdom, the process of adopting a child is lengthy and can take up to six months for the documentation to be finalized.
To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must be over 21 years old
- You must be a legal resident of the UK for at least 12 months.
- No criminal convictions – especially any relating to child endangerment. This applies to everyone in your home.
You will also have to undergo an initial background check and assessment, which will consider whether you are suitable for adoption.
Potential parents will also go through training and a process to match them with the right child.
