Especially with the Euros starting in a matter of days, you’ll have to act fast to snag this sporting bargain.

A savvy shopper was thrilled as she wandered the aisles of her local Lidl when she spotted children’s football kits for less than £5.

Thrilled by her discoveries, Sophie Bolton, among many other parents, took to social media to show off her purchase and alert other shoppers.

Posting in Extreme Couponing and Bargains Group in the UKa private Facebook group with 2.5 million members, the mother shared a Photograph about his purchase and wrote: “For any football kids… England 2024 kits, Lidl £4.99.”

Sophie was lucky enough to get three of the Euro 2024 football kits, one in size 2-4 years, another in 6-8 years and a third in 10-12 years.

The officially licensed two-piece set is perfect for England football fans and at just £4.99 we think it’s a real bargain.

The shirt is complete with a printed design on the back and the shorts have an elastic waist.

The sets are made from 100% recycled material and are available for ages two to 12.

And Lidl not only sells cheap football kits, but also footballs.

Another father, Danielle Thompsonsaw the football finds and made sure to show them to other bargain hunters.

Also posting on the same Facebook page, Danielle shared photos of her purchases – the football kit and a football – and wrote: “Absolute bargain.”

Danielle confirmed she stole the Euro football from a Lidl store in Hartlepool.

There are two footballs to choose from – one of which costs just £2.99 and the other costs £9.99.

The lightweight balls, which are only available in stores, will provide your children with hours of fun this summer – and are a great way to get into the Euro 2024 spirit.

Meanwhile, many Lidl shoppers shared their thoughts on the new purchases.

One mum smiled: “The kids wanted the kits this year so I bought them for them rather than paying over £100 for the proper kits.

“They are decent and the kids are looking forward to using them.”

While someone else wrote: “Bought one of these for my eight year old son, size 8-10 – t-shirt only fits this year, he’s slim but tall for his age.

“He absolutely loves it and it’s a bargain!

“I covered it with a pen and bean juice a few minutes after putting it on, but it washed off very easily. I recommend.”
