Hawaii-Based Wedding Photographer Kris Labang has seen her fair share of bridal fiascos.

Speaking to The US Sun, he recalled an awkward encounter with The US Sun that he kept private between the two of them – until now.

embarrassing pranks

Labang was working a wedding reception attended by one of his friends – and while he was taking “very wide shots” of the festivities, something unexpected happened.

Suddenly, he said, he felt an extremely strong pull on his arm.

“You better delete that! You did that on purpose, didn’t you? You idiot!” his friend shouted at him.

The 46-year-old was so confused by her behavior that he asked her what he did.

She told him to look at the last photo she took and the results were surprising.

“I reviewed my last photo and apparently a strong gust of wind hit as she was passing by,” he explained.

Unfortunately, her dress explodes to reveal her “period panties.”

Labang said this was an “isolated incident” that involved just the two of them.

He jokingly added that he used it as “blackmail material” for a few months.

“Although no one saw it, she was very embarrassed that I took that photo,” admitted the photographer.

GROOM’S GAG

This wasn’t the only embarrassing situation he faced while filming.

Another time, while taking photos of a friend’s wedding, a groom pulled out a sex toy as he reached for the garter.

The bride was very outgoing, she didn’t seem like the type to get embarrassed easily, but her face turned red very quickly and she wasn’t laughing.”

He explained that it wasn’t the first time he’d seen a groom do something unexpected during this tradition, but he felt he had the upper hand.

“The bride was very outgoing, she didn’t seem like the type to get embarrassed easily, but her face turned red really quickly and she wasn’t laughing,” he said.

Labang thought it was “not just a joke” and what made the situation worse was the “huge” size.

GUEST FAUX PAS

When it comes to shy guest behaviors, Labang said people are “very laid back in Hawaii, with a “very small town mentality.”

“I dare say a small country, even in the city,” he said.

Few things catch the eye or cause a stir at weddings, but he shared several he’s seen.

For example, it’s common to go to weddings in jeans and flip-flops, according to the photographer.

“Even if there is a clear dress code on the invitations, no one really cares,” he added.

Another common occurrence is when some people get “tunnel vision” when taking photos on their phones.

As a result, Labang said they get so excited that they don’t see him taking a photo right behind them and often just jump in front of a pretty photo.

I always make fun of people when I readjust their balance in a group photo because it’s usually one-sided.”

“They then turn around and see me with the camera up, looking at them, and then they run away,” he said.

Labang wasn’t too upset about it and added that “it gets a lot of laughs because of the exaggeration.”

Just as people often take good photos, sometimes there aren’t enough people in them.

“I always make fun of people when I readjust their balance in a group photo because it’s usually one-sided,” he explained.

Labang revealed that guests typically surround the man or groom in a photo and are not evenly distributed in a group photo.

“I’ll say things like, ‘Wow, you guys really don’t like the groom, do you?’ when they are all grouped together next to the bride,” he said.

After their comments, they rush to not make the bride or groom feel bad.
