YOUR wedding is the biggest party of your life, and one bride admitted she took things too far.

She explained that she took things too far and that her party ended up being a “drunken disaster.”

Editor Qarantinosfootfetish shared the wedding drama in a post.

“We got married and the plan was for the party to continue in some bars in the city center,” she said.

“Lots of shots and drinks were being given to me (without passing the blame, it was my responsibility not to drink too much) and things were going great until bar number four.”

She realized she drank too much too late.

“I quickly went from feeling incredible to being sicker than hell and having to literally be carried from the bar to a bench outside because my legs were so wobbly that I kept falling to the floor,” she said.

The situation quickly escalated when the police became involved.

“Outside, I was surrounded by police officers on bikes and a paramedic, as well as all of my new husband’s friends, as I vomited, cried and apologized profusely to everyone,” she said.

“I couldn’t keep my eyes open and ended up being carried by my husband to an Uber after the police, who were very nice to me, threatened to call an ambulance.”

The couple decided not to use the ambulance and tried to get into an Uber.

“I started vomiting all the way down the street to the Uber pickup and I vomited in the Uber too,” she recalled.

“My husband and my best friend took me home and I woke up with a bad headache but otherwise fine.”

Although everything went well, the bride grimaced at having to face the situation the next day.

“I am now dealing with enormous embarrassment and shame for being carelessly drunk in public, in front of my husband’s friends who I don’t know well, and for making him take care of me on the first night of our marriage,” she said.

“Everyone I spoke to repeatedly assured me that no one was upset with me, but I’m really embarrassed about myself.

“I guess I’m just looking for words of wisdom on how to deal with the embarrassment of being a drunk, disastrous bride (especially as someone who is normally the mother-friend who takes care of everyone else).”

Redditors flooded the comments with reassuring messages.

“So I’ll tell you a story. In 2014, it was my 23rd birthday and I was trying to get laid. I tried to impress this guy, I drank a lot, I went home with him and I DIDN’T get laid as I threw up on the bed,” said one commenter.

“On our wedding night in 2020 (yes to that same guy, I clearly left a good impression) I also threw up on the bed, this time at least in a trash can.

“Anyway, it happens. Now we’ve been married for 2.5 years, I’m pregnant, and I just like to say that I started our marriage the same way I started our relationship and they both worked out great.”

“My husband vomited on my bed, on my birthday, after only 6 months of dating. We have been together for over 7 years,” said another encouraging commenter.
