The mother, who wears a stoma bag and describes herself as a “colitis warrior, charity ambassador, newspaper journalist and podcast presenter”, explained that the crowd was ‘unpleasant’ and that is why she will not be returning to the stadium.

Posting on X, the content creator shared a photo of her at Taylor Swift’s concert.

She wore a short red ruffled dress with a pair of silver cowboy boots and was on her feet for The Eras Tour show.

Holly then explained: “So Taylor Swift was epic, but the audience wasn’t…

“I have never dealt with such unpleasant people before.

“I had to keep going to the bathroom and was treated with contempt every time I returned to my seat. Despite explaining that I have a health problem.

The post continued: “I was wearing my sunflower lanyard to let people know I have a hidden illness and I had my backpack with stoma supplies.

“A lady demanded that I take off my backpack while I explained why I was wearing it.

“She then started pushing me continuously. By the way, this was a father.

Holly shared that when she was using the bathroom, Taylor’s fans would tell her to ‘hurry up’, while she added: “When I used the disabled bathroom I was continually harassed by people banging on the door and shouting to hurry up. This made my anxiety skyrocket.

Warning to Taylor Swift fans not to ‘get caught’ with phone hack at concert

“So, until Wembley Stadium, we will have a safer environment for those with health problems. I won’t go again.”

She later explained: “Very sad because I was at a lot of shows before Covid and never had any problems before!”

Why would you need a stoma bag?

COLOSTOMY is an operation on the colon – a part of the intestine.

It diverts one end of the colon through an opening in the belly known as a stoma.

This means that the person can no longer have a bowel movement.

Instead, the poop is collected in a stoma bag, which is placed over the opening.

Many people have to undergo a colostomy due to illness.

This may include:

  • bowel cancer and other forms of cancer
  • ulcerative colitis
  • Crohn’s disease
  • diverticulitis

A stoma may also be necessary due to genetic diseases, congenital anomalies, after abdominal trauma and after radiotherapy.

REACTION FROM SOCIAL MEDIA USERS

The post clearly left many speechless as it quickly went viral and racked up a jaw-dropping two million views in just one day.

488 users shared the post, while 471 people took to the comments to express their opinions.

Not only did others share similar experiences, but many were hopeful that Holly’s post would “bring change.”

One person said: “I had the same treatment, but at work… because I had a stoma they wanted to fire me because they said no one would want to work with me. I

“I was upset and mortified… I left and never came back… some people are cruel and nasty.”

What is colitis?

COLITIS is a long-term condition that affects around one in 420 people in the UK.

It can develop at any age, but is usually diagnosed in people between the ages of 15 and 25.

Colitis is a condition in which the colon and rectum become inflamed.

The colon is the large intestine, or bowel, and the rectum is the end of the intestine where feces are stored.

Ulcers can develop in the lining of the colon, bleed and produce pus.

Symptoms can often be very mild for weeks or months, but attacks with extreme symptoms can cause a lot of pain and problems for patients.

Outbreaks can include painful, swollen joints, mouth ulcers, areas of painful, red, swollen skin, and red, irritated eyes.

Additionally, people often need to empty their bowels six or more times a day and have shortness of breath, fast or irregular heartbeats, a high temperature, and blood in the stool.

Stress can be a factor, as can an intestinal infection.

Another added: “I’m so sorry this was so mean of people. Society seriously needs to do better!

“I was on crutches yesterday and as I was getting in and out I was pushed.”

A third commented: “Shocking, I hope your feedback brings change.”

Meanwhile, someone else wrote: “I’m sorry to hear this, at least you’re brave enough to go to a show. I have multiple sclerosis and have to do self-catharsis and a wheelchair user.

“I don’t have enough courage to go to a concert, I’m always aware that I could cause inconvenience to others or put myself in an inaccessible situation.”

Why Taylor Swift Tickets Are Worth Buying

Fabulous digital writer Leanne Hall doesn’t regret paying for Taylor tickets. She explains why:

Surviving the Great War for Taylor Swift tickets was no easy task.

When I received a code, my friends and I were sure that we would get good tickets at a reasonable price.

But after waiting in a line of over 30,000 people and reaching the finish line, we were shocked at how expensive they were.

Most people who wanted Eras Tour tickets were willing to spend hundreds, just like us.

But we soon thought twice when the only tickets available were almost £700 each and nowhere near the stage.

Accepting defeat for now, we decided to wait and check the site constantly for two weeks before their ‘VIP packages’ dropped in price (a good decision considering all you got was a tote bag, some postcards and a seat at the nosebleed ) .

Finally the prices dropped to a more reasonable but still pricey £200 and we jumped at the chance to snap it up.

Would I have spent so much on any other show? Probably not, but as a die-hard Swiftie, I was willing to do anything to see her in the flesh.

Personally, I love Taylor, and the fact that she performs for over three hours when most artists perform for about an hour makes her worth spending the extra money.

However, £700 for a ticket is outrageous and even more devastating to shell out almost £500 in the hope of seeing her only to be scammed.
