A WOMAN has been criticized for bragging about her engagement online after revealing years of relationship drama that occurred before he popped the question.
Posting on Facebook, the woman shared a Photograph of her engagement ring, but it wasn’t the sparkle that got people talking.
Despite the impressive ring, it was what she wrote in the post that caught people’s attention – as did her grown-out manicure.
“Yes, guys, after 14 years of dating, four children, I put up with him after moving in and out of the house. prisontwo baby mama dramas, he also had a secret love child but I forgive him!
“Unemployed for 13 years, but finally got a job at Burger King!
“Do not hate! He really tries hard in this difficult life.
“He proposed to all of you today! Patience is a virtue. You can keep yours nextjust hold it.”
Her post was then shared on another Facebook group, where people criticized her for accepting the proposal.
“The obsession with marriage will be the end of women,” one person commented on the post.
And someone else joked: “You could be next, it sounds like a threat.”
“Congratulations, but after 14 years and all this other stuff and forgiving, he gave you what you wanted, to marry his bulls*** for life.
“It was easy to get into all this, but it was hard to get out,” another person added.
Meanwhile, others were more focused on the woman’s manicure.
“He needs to pay for a refill for them nails first, or she might have to wait 18 years for it. Know your worth, ladies,” one said.
And someone else joked: “Holding on to your man like that nail holding on for dear life.”
Others were convinced that the woman bought the ring for herself, not the man.
“Burger King doesn’t pay big enough wages for a diamond that big so I guess you bought it yourself and made him propose too,” someone commented.
“There’s no way he got that ring with Burger King’s budget,” agreed another.
