A MAN has revealed the hilarious state his jumper was in after trying to wash it.

Jordan Forsyth was left in trouble after his favorite sweater shrank drastically when he put it in the washing machine.

Scott then tried a “hack” to get back to normal, but the sweater looked even worse.

Taking to TikTok, Jordan (@jordanforsyth9) shared that he has been trying to be a little more “domesticated” and do his own household chores instead of leaving it to the cleaning lady.

He put his blue Hugo Boss sweater in the washing machine, and after the load was finished, he was dismayed.

In a fit of laughter, Jordan showed the sweater to the camera, holding it against her body to show that it had shrunk to a fraction of its size.

“It’s really tiny now, isn’t it!” he joked.

Responding to Jordan’s video, one person suggested a hack to get back to normal.

They said: “If you use bleach and then wash it with hot water it will return to normal.”

Jordan poured some bleach into her washing machine and turned the temperature up to the highest setting possible – 90 degrees.

Realizing Jordan’s mistake, people flooded the comments section of his video.

One person said: “It will end up being the size of a postage stamp.”

I felt great in the clothes I wore to the supermarket – then I got home and realized what an embarrassing mistake I made

Another person said, “You never put bleach on a hot sweater and you never put it in a hot wash!”

In another video, Jordan shared the results of his experiment.

Taking the jumper off the machine, he revealed that it had shrunk even further.

How can you dry your clothes when it’s raining outside?

DEALING with the British weather is not ideal when it comes to trying to dry your clothes outdoors. But fear not, if it’s raining, there are a few tricks you can try to dry your clothes indoors.

Curtain Poles

If you put your clothes on hangers to dry, you can hang them on a curtain pole. This is an effective trick, but it’s important to make sure you also have a window open, to promote ventilation and prevent mold buildup.

Airers

There are a number of aerators on the market, but the popularity of heated aerators has increased dramatically in recent months. Many people swear by using a heated airer to dry clothes quickly and evenly without adding to their energy bill by using a dryer.

Dehumidifiers

While the main purpose of a dehumidifier is, as the name suggests, to reduce humidity in the room, they also work great for drying clothes. In fact, many of the small machines have a laundry setting. And again, using a dehumidifier won’t cost you much either, as they are very energy efficient.

Radiator cocoon

If you have the heating on, creating a cocoon with a fitted sheet and your radiator can be a game changer. Simply place one end of the sheet over the radiator and place the other end so that it completely surrounds the aerator. This will dry your clothes faster by keeping the warm air inside the cocoon rather than letting it escape.

Rotate

Most washing machine cycles end with a spin cycle, but you can always give your clothes an extra spin before taking them out to remove as much moisture as possible before hanging them up. It’s a trick that many people swear by when it comes to drying clothes inside.

“It looks like a sponge!” he said.

“Look at the size of that!”

Jordan held the jumper’s arm up to his own arm, and he didn’t even reach the elbow.

“This used to be a Cool jumper!” he said.

After many pleas from social media users, Jordan posted another video of himself, this time trying to put on the tiny sweater.

“It probably won’t even fit in my huge head,” he said.

With difficulty, Jordan pulled the sweater over his head and managed to get one arm through the sleeve.

“That’s it,” he said.

Trying to force the sweater back, he said, “I can’t take it off!”

“That will never happen again.”
